think outside the (planter) box!
i use these on the countertop in my camper. i looked and looked for just the right container and came upon these. they're perfect for containing mason jars, coffee supplies, vitamins, etc. lightweight, tall enough, very square walls (not tapering to a smaller base like the rest), super sturdy, and very attractive. and they're metal, so get some 1 inch cabachon glass dome fridge magnets to glam them up. i'm back looking at them again today because i've thought of more uses for these versatile containers.

excellent delivery of a poor quality product
the product as delivered is unusable. the paint itself is of such low quality and was applied in such an unprofessional manner that these will need to be stripped and repainted before using. in addition, the metal is flimsy and poorly sealed so it will need to be resealed as well before using with a living plant. i would look elsewhere for a product of this type.

I like it! Good product.
This item is solidly built and I am pleased with the quality, it's holding water tight as well so far. I bought the one with the dark finish (not copper) and it's a little obvious that the age or "oxidization" of the zinc has been painted on with a brush (like a blackish stain). I still like it though and expect it will weather naturally outside over time as well. It's fairly deep so I filled mine about halfway with small rocks from my yard then put cactus mix soil and 5 succulent babies....which are growing fast, plenty of room to spare (for a few more baby plants if I wanted) in the 20" size. It should work well on a sunny 4" deep (or deeper) windowsill when I bring it in over the Pennsylvania winter.

Photo is not at all like the product. Extremely cheap & poorly painted Not with $18

Nothing like the picture
Looks nothing like the picture. Streaky black paint over metal. Ugly. I returned it.
