Great item, works as intended.

Get rid of heavy D size battery in LED era.

I bought 12 battery adapter cases, just tested as follows:1. Tested AAA to AA, AA to D, and AAA to D, it all fits the size.2. One of the mental tip in D case is kind of loose, but still worked.All in all, plastic is durable, solid and well designed. However, it might still need some improvement such as loosing mental tip, and might use string at the end of the case for better connection. So far, works for me, yes, recommended!3. 1 AA or AAA to D converter is not working well, for light duty, it might be ok, however, a D battery is typically 3 times AA, therefore, 3 AA to D converter will be better, that is why I gave it 4 out of 5!

Reduced the weight of a large dive light by changing from D size batteries two AA batteries.

Cuts down on the variety of batteries I need to keep on hand as well as storage space which is especially great for emergency kits. Will be Useful while traveling to cut the weight of carry on bags containing battery powered items because the adapters themselves are practically weightless. Someone also mentioned that it cuts the weight of a computer mouse which seems like it would be great for arthritis.

Was very pleased with these. Sure wish they were cheaper, I'm afraid they'll get thrown away by my kids not knowing they are reusable.
