This is a very nice high quality item. I had a round nerf bar that I liked for years but getting old has changed my needs. My wife is having a hard time getting into the truck now. I found this since it has a step that’s 4” lower and easier to step on. Installing it was easy unlike some of these people cry about. I’m 76 and I installed it in a hour. The only difficult thing was what many of the complaints were about, the Tbolts. The hard part is trying to get the bar up to the mounting arms without them falling out. After trying twice and failing I found a simple solution. Get a role of electrical tape, slide the bolts to the end and tape them down. They stay in place until you can get a couple of nuts started or all of the lock nuts started then pull the tape off witch is easy because electrical tape doesn’t stick that well to steel. Now you can just tighten the nuts down. By the way these look even better than the round nerf bars did, more classy. My wife now can get into the truck with ease.

I saw these on a vehicle and really liked the look so I searched Amazon. Each model I found warned the running boards would not fit a 2023 Tacoma. I emailed the company directly and was absolutely amazed by their quick responses! Not only were they prompt in correspondence, they were extremely helpful -to the point where they sent me the direct link to the correct Amazon product for my truck! I was still worried because Amazon said it wouldn’t work for my 2023 Tacoma and double checked with the company directly. They reassured me it would work and they sure did! The assembly was simple and quick. The product is a great quality and looks fantastic. Directions were easy to follow and the whole process took less than hour. Great company and product!

I put these on and it was rather easy. The only hard part was because of some rust on where the steps bolted into the truck. That was resolved and the rest was easy and I am not a mechanic and don't have a lot of knowledge or experience in that frame of reference. They look great on the truck and my wife loves it because it makes it easier for her to get in. I am 6'5" but she is much shorter and it was more difficult for her to get in. Now it is easy peasy.

Warning - if you live in the sub zero portions of the US, DO NOT BUY THESE. The steps are cast, and cast does not suffer impacts well when cold. Professional installation is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!! (by the manufacture) - On the Tacoma anyone can do it, as long as you don't tighten all the nuts and bolts when you assemble it for installation. They arrived today, and I instantly became concerned with the weight of the box. The box had a bend about half way, so I was also concerned for the rails. Opened it and everything was OK with the items, and it is well packaged. Pulled out the first rail and my heart sank - both sides are very thin, light, nothing along the bottoms are welded, and it has plastic end caps (a big no no). Along the bottom are 6 open slots for T-Bolts, so the bolt can wedge against the sides when tightened. The hardware is awesome, well packaged, and the instructions are clear. The hardware (nuts, bolts and washers) come in two packages labeled A & B covered in the instructions. Everything comes in either plastic sleeves, or plastic sleeves and bubble packing, and the hardware is centered in three boxes between the rails. What I don't like - The powder coat is a single very thin coat. As stated, the metal welded joins are only welded along the tops, and sides, but not on the bottoms. Plastic caps on all four ends. The insides are not coated, and looking through one of the slots, if these are stainless, it is the lowest grade possible, as they were already rusting in the interior. Cast steps - When mounted they are ridged and fine, but the first person to throw their crown vic, or camaro door open is going to split them like a flounder. The bulges at the front, center and rear do not stick out far enough to use as steps to wash the hood or roof. What I do like - When mounted they look good. At 230 lbs they hold my weight without any noticeable give. The coatings on the hardware should hold up and prevent rust. The instructions are simple but mostly complete. A little additional direction would help many. Note: If you're doing this on the ground I feel for you, and the pre-assemble directions will be your friend. I have a two post car lift, so I did it all over head, and it still took me 2.25 hours. I also did mine in parts; installing the body mounts, then the rails to the body mounts, then the steps to the rails.
