We took these cases on a 3 week trip to Iceland, Norway, Scotland and England. They worked great. Purchased two colors. Silver and purple. Good value for the cost. Held up great. The silver ones did get a few marks from the airport. The purple did not as they are darker. Size was perfect.

purchased this suitcase in August 2017 and have been using it ever since. It has held up very well over the years with no major issues. The only part I had to replace was the TSA lock, but everything else is still working great. The wheels roll smoothly, the handle is sturdy, and I'm still very satisfied with this suitcase.

These locks are like little bouncers for my belongings, ensuring that my valuables stay safe and sound without any hassle at security. The locks also make me feel like a secret agent every time I pop them open, ready to reveal my perfectly packed wardrobe to the world (or just to the TSA agent). The interiors of these cases are equally impressive. Spacious and organized, with enough room to fit all my travel essentials and then some. And let’s not forget the little compartments that make me feel super organized (even if it’s just an illusion). In conclusion, this Samsonite luggage set has transformed my travel game. This is a very good quality suitcase. It was the first hard case that I've bought. For the most part, I am satisfied, but I wish I had known a couple more bits of information before I purchased. If you are also buying YOUR FIRST HARD CASE, read these IMPORTANT TIPS. TIP #1: This case closes with a ZIPPER ONLY. It does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, you do will have a latch as a backup method to keep your case closed and you may find your self in a predicament when you need to check your broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, if you buy this case, be sure to also buy luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep your case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. When buying luggage straps, write your initials on each strap with a permanent marker. This will not only help identify your bag in a busy airport, but also make the straps less desirable for thieves. TIP #2: I bought the (very large) 28-inch version of this case because I wanted to have plenty of space to pack for long international trips. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a size or two smaller because filling up a case this big with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put you over the airline weight limits (and be very heavy to lift). The case is very light, but I can only fill it up about 75% to avoid paying the "excess weight" fees. With the case being 25% empty, I have lots of open space in the bag and my belongings bounce around inside. When I arrive at my destination, I often find my loosely packed belongings out of order and disheveled. For my next suitcase, I will buy something a tad bit smaller so I can fill 90% or 100%. When filled to 90-100%, my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside.

I've had this Samsonite Omni PC 3-piece luggage set for 5 years, and it's still going strong. The spinner wheels roll smoothly, the handles work perfectly, and the hard shell has held up remarkably well despite plenty of trips. There are some expected scuffs from baggage handling, but nothing that affects performance.

Perfect size for a checked bag. Stuffed it full but stayed under 50 pounds! (46.7lbs)

This is a nice looking set of suitcases. The nesting makes it easy to store. It's great to have the variety of sizes. And the price is very reasonable. However, don't expect these suitcases to last for more than a few years. We bought this set for my wife about 9 months ago. She only used the middle size suitcase a few times, but on our last trip when I picked it up from the top handle the handle broke. We bought my set about 3 years ago. I used the middle size suitcase 20-30 times, so it was definitely well travelled. When I unzipped it the zipper separated from the bag. Sadly, for both of these repairs Samsonite wanted us to ship the bag to them at our expense. Given the low cost and short lifetime, we decided it wasn't worth it. I will also say that it has been difficult dealing with Samsonite about the warranty. I tried calling them three times and every time the wait was over 30 minutes and still no one picked up and there was no option for a call back. I had better success using the chat feature on their website. They weren't able to sell me a replacement handle, but they DID send a replacement suitcase! So that was nice. But I'd rather have a good product than free bad products. Having a suitcase fail while traveling is not fun. We're going to pay more for a higher quality product.

Solid case went to Africa with it and it took all the bumps and gave great protection to the ornaments I brought back

I had my previous Samsonite for about 15 years before one of the airlines trashed it, was so happy with quality and durability that I wanted another Samsonite. Although a somewhat boring black colour, this is excellent quality and at a great price point. Very happy with this replacement for an old favourite
