Edit February, 2022: These things have gotten ridiculously expensive due to the world going completely insane, so even knowing how good these are I'd be hesitant to buy them myself. But they really are fantastic (I have 3 of them so far), and when/if the price starts going back down they are well worth the purchase. Original review: I've had quite a few flash drives over the years. I use them quite a bit, and have never had any issues other than slow speeds. Whether they're cheap no-names or respected well-known names, from 8GB to 512GB, USB 2 or 3, they're always SO SLOW - regardless of reviews touting benchmark tests of their supposed amazing speeds. I eventually gave up researching and just avoided the ones that looked like obvious garbage. The PNY ones used to be my favorites. They were slow but I liked them. Then I took a chance on these. And WOW what a difference. I've bought two so far and plan on another soon. I haven't run tests, but the write speed on these things is easily at least 5 times faster than any other flash drives I have. They're solidly built with a metal casing, yet they don't get ridiculously hot. At this point I don't expect to buy any other brands. Axe is doing it right, at least with this model. I haven't tried anything else they make yet.

Works well after 2 years, at nearly-full capacity. (Apart from one time, which just required rebooting my PC.)

THIS THIS IS AMAZINGLY FAST, I run a portable version of windows specifically for gaming on this thing and my PC boots in less than 30 seconds with this USB stick, Hard Drives ARE NO MORE.

I love this thing it has held up and has plenty of storage. Not 128gb but it is more than within reason for the cost. If you need a thumb drive get this or the larger options.

I bought the 512GB version. This flash drive is very solid feeling. It's not a plastic Chinese knock-off. Solid, well performing. If they had a 1TB version, I would snap it up, fast. The cap that protects the USB interface matches the stick and looks great. Buy it, if you can afford it.

for the money, this is probably one of the fastest flash drives you can get in it's price range. It is also made of a solid metal too which i like as it adds a bit of durability that i like

Il pennino ha un rivestimento metallico che da un aspetto di ottima qualità, tutta via essendo liscio state attenti all'effetto saponetta. Una nota importante è che il pennino è abbastanza leggero e sufficientemente piccolo da permettere di attaccarlo in un portatile a lato ad un altro dispositivo con attacco altrettanto piccolo (vorrei capire questi geni di ingegneri che mettono 2 porte USB tanto vicino da renderle non facilmente utilizzabili contemporaneamente) La velocità è variabile a seconda del PC e di come gli gira alla porta USB in quel momento, ma diciamo che in generale riesce a scrivere quasi 100MB/s. Non so quali pennini abbiano provato gli altri che dicono di avere trovato di meglio ma a questo prezzo, che comunque non è poco, io non sono riuscito a trovarne.

Very fast write speed , great craftsmanship , love the metal heavy material

I was attracted to the AXE Speedy 512GB USB 3.1 by the claimed write speeds of up to 300 MB/s. I can only get near to the top write speed for a couple of seconds before the write speed significantly drops to a very inconsistent 20 to 90 MB/s. I suspect (but I may be wrong) that the higher advertised speed is only being achieved by using a small amount of high-speed cache memory first, before data is flushed to much slower storage memory, which may explain why it quickly drops on every write test I have tried with larger files of 4GB+. I understand the speedy description and quoted write speed are misleading therefore I cannot recommend it.

添付画像の黒とガンメタを同時購入しました。どちらも256GBです。 黒は本体もキャップもプラスチックで動作ランプ無しです。 ガンメタの本体は金属に覆われていてキャップはプラスチックの上に金属がかぶせられているので手に持つとヒンヤリとしてズッシリとした重さがあります。こんなに重たいUSBメモリーを手に持ったのは初めてです。ガンメタの方はストラップ穴隣に動作ラングあり赤く光ります。 以前使っていた同じシリーズの128GBが容量不足になり256GBに買い換えました。 相変わらずこのシリーズの転送速度は大変早いです。 特に早さを求める人にはお勧めです。
