SmiffysWomen's Day of The Dead Bride Costume

I'm in LOVE with this costume!!! The fit is right on. I'm size 10-12 , height 5'3" and ordered size Medium. The length is a bit long but with heels it's just right! The fabric is better than expected and is sewn well. The rose headband and veil are perfect for completing this Day of the Dead Bride costume. I reconstructed the roses on the headband and added black roses, a mini skull and topped it off with black spiders. In addition I've created my own "Dia de los Muertos" wedding bouquet with red & black roses, spiders and skulls. I can't wait to wear this FABULOUS costume! Overall one of the Best deals/purchases I've made on Amazon.

Used for Dia de los Muertos! Very well made dress. I've washed and dried it (gently) and had no issues, even the rose stayed intact. It runs a little bit big size wise and is very long. I'm 5'9" and wore it with heeled boots and still needed to hold it up in order to walk, but I loved that about it! The finger holes on the end of the lace sleeves were a tad short for my wing span so I only kept them on when I was being photographed. The empire waist expands so even if you're a bigger girl, it'll stretch to fit. It photographs well too, the colors are great! The head piece I decided to alter bc I wanted everything to simply be bigger and stand out more. But you could totally keep it as isOverall, 100% worth the money!

Great costume - very pretty and reasonably comfortable with the exception of the tulle that the manufacturer sewed inside around the waist (way too itchy so I cut it out) and the sleeves were a bit tight and scratchy underneath in the armpit area. I ordered the small and it generally fit very well although it was a bit too long for me (I'm 5'1") so I added a belt so that I could secure it up a bit higher. All things considered I loved the costume and would definitely recommend it.

This Day of the Dead / Dead Bride themed dress was a hit this Halloween!! Hence the 5 star rating!!! Still, I wanted to share a review with a few minor things about the dress that would be useful to future buyers:1. The head band with soft lace that runs down the back was the best part of the costume! (See picture) Comfortable, never gave me a head ache.2. Note:my upper arms are larger than the average girl and grab at dresses made with material that do not contain much spandex (especially in the arm) This dress contains lace that does not stretch so keep that in mind.2. I normally wear a size 12-14. I am 34C bust and my waist is quite small however because of my arms and the lace material not stretching much, I purchased a size up and bought size 14-16. This took care of the problem with the lace arms. The 12-14 dress would never of fit my upper arms.3. Further, the dress was naturally a bit large around my waist and the bottom of the dress hit the floor and then some.... (I wore flats). I ended up having the dress hemmed a couple inches at the bottom and because there is elastic lining drooping at the waist, I had the waist taken in a bit too. Well worth the $22 I paid a seamstress.4. The inner lining of the waist line was very very scratchy as it had this weird scratchy material sewn in the waist to poof the hip part of the dress out a bit. I had it removed immediately!!! It was awful. You can easily cut it out if you like however you will still be left with a inner lining seam that scratches you awful. I wore a body suit underneath the dress because of this problem. I would suggest wearing a Long Sleeved Bodysuit with a V Front and Back or low scoop neck front and back. Nothing you can do to fix the material. I mean, a $40 Halloween costume is not going to made of 100% cotton or Chenille wool.Because I invested some additional funds toward this costume with the purchase of a velvet choker necklace,pretty drop earrings and lace tights to stay super warm on a cold October evening, I can see myself repeating this dress for a few years. Maybe become a vampire next year! All in all, this is a fantastic costume ladies. Very feminine and modest enough for grown up costume parties.

I purchased this costume and it was delivered 2 days before Halloween so i didn't have much time to work out the kinks. First and foremost this costume is very well made. It is not like the cheap thin costumes from the Halloween stores. I purchased an XL. I am a pretty solid 14/16 and this costumes was a little bit too big for what I wanted. A large would have fit better. I would say that this dress would probably fit an 18 all the way to a 22. It was very stretchy. I am 5'-6" and the dress was very long on me. I had to gather it in my hand while walking. There was a very scratching tulle on the inside of the dress that I had to cut out, but it was fine after removing it. The veil on the head piece added to the overall look but kept getting caught in my hair and pull off when I sat down. So I cut it off. I had a lot of compliments on the outfit. It was exactly what I was looking for.

The color of this dress is very pretty, but I have to admit that I completely altered it . I am a US size 16 in both tops and bottoms, my dress size is between 16-18 and I ordered an XL in this dress. The overall fit was good, except for the sleeves, they were extremely too tight! Who makes a plus size dress and then adds tiny sleeves?? So I actually cut them out of the dress and loosened up the elastic part, since I planned on keeping it for my Halloween costume. I ended up pinning the dress up on both sides as well, just because I thought it was more flattering that way. The material is good quality, but I don't think it was worth the price honestly.

This dress is amazing! It will fit ANY size. My friend is Size S and it fit her, Im a L so I ordered Size L (14-16) im 5'2 in height and it fit me perfectly. Its stretchy so if any girl Size XL would try it im sure it would fit. I went to a Dia De Los Muertos event and everyone loved it. I got many compliments on it. The veil is well made too and I love that it is long.

Il vestito è arrivato nei tempi previsti, integro e perfetto. Io ho preso una M (temevo potesse risultare un po' stretta) e veste comoda in quanto il costume è elasticizzato sul punto vita. Eventualmente, l'unico problema per una persona più abbondante potrebbe essere la circonferenza delle maniche (non elasticizzate). Il vestito arriva con una cerchietto decorato da rose rosse, teschietti dorati e un velo che completano l'outfit.Talmente bello che il vestito lo userei anche per altre occasioni.

Tolles Kostüm in Faschingssamt, viel Volumen und nette Details. Rock schwingt sehr schön und das Off Shoulder Oberteil schaut sexy aus.Haarreif mit der Spitze auch ok. Musste nur ein paar Fäden vom Heisskleber entfernen.Habe das Kleid in Gr. L bestellt bei Kleidergrösse 42/44 und einziges Manko - es ist zu weit! Bestelle es nochmal eine Größe kleiner.Um kleines Geld macht es echt was her.

Très belle robe, dommage qu'elle soit arrivée déchirée devant... et plus le temps de la renvoyer avant la fête d'halloween à l'école...

Robe magnifique, de très bonne qualité. Mais un peu longue et le tulle à l'intérieur gratte un peu
