Ive tried eight different volumizing natural shampoos and this is by far the most effective. The shampoo that comes in second is EO's volumizing shampoo. They BOTH are very effective though. I love EO's volumizing shampoo. The reason why I prefer this one is the shampoo keeps my hair less oily for just a day longer (not that big of a difference, but still its convenient). I also love how it smells and the fact it has matcha green tea and ginseng!! :) I drink matcha tra every day and simply love the idea I am putting it on my scalp. So its purely a preference of esthetics. Also this shampoo lasts longer per ounce. I only have to use a little bit. That being said for shoulder length hair, use a quarter size amount (MAX) wipe it onto hair scalp THEN lather. It wont lather immediately but when it starts to lather, ITS SUUUPER lathery. I usually shampoo the top of head and to my ears first then rinse then shampoo again on the back side of my head wiping the shampoo on my hair under the rest of hair (if that makes sense) then start to scrub. Rinse and then shampoo my whole head one more timeIf necessary with a little less of amount of shampoo. ***ALSO i use apple cider vinegar (ACV) to rinse my hair after rinsing out the shampoo. I use ACV INSTEAD of conditioner. It makes a big difference for fine, oily hair and makes my hair bouncy. No conditioner necessary! I swear! The combo of this shampoo with ACV rinse is awesome! Also because i dont use conditioner anymore, i apend a little less and it justifies for me paying a little more for this product.

This is an excellent product. I have fine but naturally curly graying hair which with most shampoos will frizz. After multiple uses I have not once had frizz to be an issue. The scent is not unpleasant and I love the way it does not suds up like most shampoos I had used in the past. I apply it to my wet hair and rub it in, leaving it to soak in for a few minutes. It rinses completely and leaves my hair manageable and soft. I know it can be used with conditioners as well; though at this time I have not found a reason to use anything but the shampoo itself. Definitely on my list of products I will buy again.

I have long, medium-thickness, fine-medium texture oily hair. I was looking for a shampoo without harsh drying synthetic chemicals that would not break out my skin as I have hormonal-acne-prone oily skin. After laborious research I took a chance on this shampoo.I have been using it a few months, once a week. It does NOT cause acne on my face, neck, shoulders, back, or chest. What a relief! It also cleans my hair well. I had to use my old Suave Naturals shampoo for a few weeks and I experienced a lot more shedding, and when I returned to this shampoo the shedding died down to normal levels :-) My hair can go five days looking fresh before needing to wash it again.It doesn't spread well without some extra water added to the scalp. It has a funny but non-offensive smell and be sure you shake it well before each use. Overall it's been a great shampoo!

I have used this on & off for years. I love the herbal smell & how it makes my hair nice & shiny & clean. I also love the all natural ingredients. The only thing I am not crazy about is the thick consistency. It comes out of the bottle runny, but it is actually thick, almost like a concentrate, where I have to keep adding water to make it lather well. This is a small matter, though. I will probably buy this again in the future. I alternate between this & Desert Essence Lemon/tea tree shampoo.

This is not a "normal" shampoo, at least in my opinion. It has an oil-like consistency, in a clear, green-tea color. It's hard to hold it in the palms and work up the lather. And this shampoo just doesn't lather well. I really have to add water little by little (even though the hair is already wet) and really take the time to work up the lather. And in the process I've got my hair all tangled with the constant rubbing-motion. Not the best thing to do for long thick hair. However, after rinsing, the hair does become noticeably softer. I still need to apply de-tangling product before I can comb through the hair, but the hair seems moisturized, so I guess the product does its job. No fragrance- just a natural, tree-oil-like smell. I've used it about 5 times so far. Will finish the bottle but probably not buy it again or recommend it to anyone with long hair.

I bought this shampoo to replace a green tea shampoo i bought in Asia. This does a great job, but it's not as good as my old shampoo. i have oily hair and scalp and it's gets out most of it, but my old shampoo really got it all. it's really watery so it's hard to get the right amount out of the bottle. I poured it into the old shampoo bottle which had a pump. This makes it easier to get into my hands. I'd recommend this product.

Shampooing clarifiant qui tient ses promesses. Le cuir chevelu est bien propre après utilisation. Odeur agréable, je recommande.

I did some research before committing to buying a 10 pound bottle of shampoo. It came up on several lists as excellent for oily hair. I have been using it for 2 weeks and so has my husband. My hair is oily and treated making my scalp quite prone to flaking especially after having it dyed. This shampoo keeps it clean for at least 3 days even after using conditioner( only at the ends) and my scalp is not flaking at all. My hair feels very soft and looks shiny, even the treated colour looks better. Plus, I only have to wash it once! I have to put a bit of shampoo on the crown,temples and the back of my head as it doesn't spread easily but once it gets going , you get a lush,thick frothing. My husband is absolutely loving it, he has thick, poker staight hair that usually looks greasy one day after washing. He was quite amused at first and said the shampoo turns to custard when you put it in your hair. It is quite runny but once it touches your scalp, that's when some crazy science must be happening! His hair is staying clean for days!! And it is the shiniest I've ever seen it. I only just revealed to him how much I paid for it....he says it's worth it ;)
