I used to love peardrops when I was at school, which was a long time ago. I bought these sweets because of nostalgia, and they didn't disappoint.I still love them!

Was quite sceptical about buying sweets from Amazon at the start but when these arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Exactly the same as you’d get in a sweet shop and saves you so much money. I bought multiple jars for my girlfriend as a part of her birthday gifts. Will definitely be buying more as it is so cost effective.

Just like when I was a kid

Can't fault the sweets themselves - strong and pleasingly lingering taste - possibly a slight improvement over the originals, and you get a decent amount with a long shelf-life.However, for the high price, I was expecting a glass jar. In fact I'd planned to pick up other products in the range to build up a selection of the jars, but they are unfortunately just plastic. The description doesn't say glass explicitly, but it is suggested by words like "vintage" and "traditional", and without that, the price seems excessive.

It comes with a magical disappearing tub! Nobody knows anything about what happens to the sweets! I had a few and oh lord, they are delicious.

I ordered a jar of these sweets recently. I am extremely disappointed with them. The sweets had no pineapple flavour at all. Either inside or out. Just sugar which has no flavour. Clearly an error in the production of them. I thought I would do the decent thing and emailed Berryman's direct as Amazon would not except it as a returned item. I shouldn't have bothered. That was 5 days ago. And no one has had the decency to reply. They clearly don't care about their customers. Of which I have been one for the past few years. I will not be purchasing anything else from them. Disgraceful! Shame on you. Buyers beware!
