Playskool Kota and Pals Hatchling - Triceratops

This toy is cute, and it makes absolutely adorable sounds. When it makes sounds, the head moves, as well as the mouth. It's really adorable.The only drawbacks are that the rest of the body is rigid plastic covered with a soft cloth/velour. The body doesn't really move and it's not very "huggable." But for an "action figure" type thing where a kiddo will play with it, it seems fairly durable (except if you decided to rip the fabric or something, I guess) and not so hard-edged as a fully-plastic toy. It also sits very adorably without falling over, on a shelf or a desk.

This dinosaur is adorable. My son is 3 and has pervasive developmental disorder--he just recently started learning how to "roarrrr" so I thought a toy dinosaur would be good. He was a little confused by this little toy at first, but now is interested in it. You touch the dinosaur's back to make it "talk"--it then continues to make noises for a bit on its own, then goes into sleep mode if you don't touch its back again. The dinosaur's head moves as he makes little "baby" or "sleepy" noises in addition to a low roar or two. The mouth opens while the dinosaur moves it's head. There are two tiny teeth near the tongue--not dangerous or scarey and the roar is cute.

It's really small and didn't come in a box hopefully it works when I put batteries in it

Cute baby Dino, not extremely durable!

My 2 & 1/2 year old loves "Baby Sir-tops"! This toy manages to be sweet and cuddly while not really all that plush. He moves his head, purrs, and growls. My son cuddles up with him and plays with him all the time. I only wish that it walked in addition to moving its head. I am considering adding a "pal" since it's such a great toy! Highly recommend for ages 2 & 1/2 and up, especially kids into dinosaurs.

I was really excited about this baby dino. It's adorable! It does not do as much as I anticipated. Really, it just turns its head a little and makes a couple of cute noises. I thought it would walk. Also, the "petting" of it is actually pressing down a very obvious button on it's back. Nevertheless, I thought it was super cute when I got it. My 3-year-old son is a dinosaur nut and I thought this would be a great Christmas present. Apparently I over estimated how much he would like it, possibly because it took too long to get out of the box and so the excitement wore off. He plays with it at times and named it Cera, but he seems to prefer his normal rubber dinosaurs to this one. Still, his 1-year-old sister thinks it is awesome, he likes it for cuddle time, and it was extremely reasonably priced for such a cute toy.

He is fascinated and a little frightened at the same time. He perhaps believes that it is alive. He gets braver as each day goes by, finally touching it after 3 days. He loves to copy its sounds and I think this is good experience for learning to explore the world- with excitement and caution.I bought two, one for my 30 month old grandson, as well. He hasn't seen it yet; but I hope he will enjoy it too.

If find it hard to find good quality dino stuff these things are cute. My daugher love them for what they are worth.
