very strong and long ties
Bought these to secure 8" air conditioning duct - which was a little over 2' in circumference...the ties were ample length and easy to use. They are hard to cut - but that is a plus because it ensures they securely hold the duct in place.

Just what I needed to reconnect my AC ductwork. Works great - very strong and easy to use. Just make sure to use a tool for tensioning them together to make sure they are as tight as possible.

Great "boning" substitute
I use these for boning in 18th century corsets, instead of reeds or pricey "artificial whalebone" I've tried the artificial whalebone and this is a very good substitute. It's easy to cut to length, and a swipe with a file rounds off cut edges. another plus: if one prewashes the fabrics, the corset is hand washable.

You will never know when you need one
36 inch nylon tie may seem like too much until you have to reach around something wide or uniquely shaped.If you have them. You will use them.
