Greek Easy Learning Audio Course: Learn to speak Greek the easy way with Collins

I bought this because I already had the Polish version and found it very well put together. It introduces words and phrases very naturally and you are only limited by your own time and aptitude in picking up the language. Although it says that you don't need to follow it in the accompanying booklet, but just listen to the CDs, I found that reading the booklet in parallel helped me understand how the words are said, and some of the rules of pronunciation of letters.

Great cds, only 3 discs but quite a lot to enjoy, and lots to learn. The handy booklet that comes with it is very helpful for spellings and to use along side the discs, an enjoyable learning experience.

Nicely structured development process. Learn some words, learn some phrases, hear them spoken in a two way conversation, deconstruct the sentence picking out the parts you understand and learning more with the bits you don't. Thus helping build the skill that you really need, which is making some sense out of the response to your carefully remembered statement of "excuse me, I want to go to the post office" or "where is the train station please?"

Excellent course in Greek for absolute beginners. Interactive and progresses at a slow pace. My friend who speaks Greek says it is good.

This is an excellent introduction to Greek for absolute beginners. The explanations of each word and phrase repeated several times ensure that you learn everything. It takes you slowly through the course. The little handbook is there if you want to learn to write Greek as well. I definitely recommend it if you are a beginner.

I now realise I'm a visual learner, so a decent book to accompany the CDs would have been better. The tiny leaflet doesn't do it for me. More information on the Greek alphabet at the beginning is needed.

Easy to use and set at a good pace for learning on the move

I loved using this course! I couldn’t speak Greek at all before using this and now I have a solid understanding for the basics. This course is a great way to start learning Greek.
