NAVA Jinhao X450 Brown Marble Chunky Medium Flex Nib Fountain Pen

I love how well Jinhao’s write. They are super inexpensive and very well made. I have pens such as Platinum, Sheaffer, Waterman Nemosine and as I love all of these I too often pick up this peice of crap because it writes so darn well. Of the 250, X450 and X750 I like the 450 the best. Like the 750 it has #6 nib but a gripping section that is somewhat better than the 750 (unless you’re using the Palmer writing method, which I do sometimes). For reference: the 250 has a nice grip section too and a #5 nib(I think) and, flexes like a boss if you open the breather hole and cut a few relief cuts and cut out the top feed slot all the way to the feeds tip with a razor. 15 mins work for a wet noodle for 3bucks is priceless😏

I bought this pen because it was supposed to be a flex nib pen. I got it today, shipping was faster than expected. I like Jinhao pens so I took a chance. Although, pen is a little soft, it's not a flex pen. It does write nice, though.

This is worth every penny! I can’t believe this writes better in some ways than a pen I paid 3-4 times as much for! I also find myself going back to it over the Pilot Metro Medium (Altho it writes a little thicker than the medium). This is my first flex pen and I really like the effects it gives with the ink when I flex it. Will but again for sure. I thought the nib was gonna be crap too but it writes smoother than the Metro Medium Nib. I like it a lot!

This is a great fountain pen. I am pleased with it and the way it functions. I would recommend it to anyone. More than what I hoped for at the bargain price.

Gift for my daughter. She has shown us some of the inked artwork. Quite impressive for a twelve-year-old!
