No audio
It seems like a good resource for learning Korean which is why I bought it when it first came out, but I haven’t gotten around to trying to use it until now and now I’m seeing that I won’t be able to for a while longer. The whole reason I got it was because I knew I’d be able to practice my reading and listening skills at once and I feel like I can’t get as much from it if I can’t listen to it being read so I can know how the words are really supposed to sound. Plus, I’m not at the stage of being able to read independently anyway. But to my knowledge there’s no official audiobook for it, probably because at the time of its release, there was a video of Korean unnie reading through the book on YouTube. But now there’s not. Korean unnie is on a break from YouTube now which is great for her, but I think it’s unfair and unprofessional to delete the video that goes along with a book that people PAID for to help them learn. I feel it would’ve been nice to at least leave that one up.

First Second after opening I’m already impressed!
Literally the second I got it and opened the book I was impressed!!!! I subscribe to Korean Unnie on YouTube and literally bought the book immediately after seeing her use it in a new video series. I didn’t even watch the video, I paused it right as she started reading and hopped on to amazon to buy it so I can read along. I’ve been searching for a way to practice my Korean reading comprehension while also learning new words and phrases and have wanted to use simple stories and children’s books. The text is very clean and the book is well organized. The Korean Short on one page with the English on the other and than two pages of a list of new words and phrases from the reading. Each story is broken up into small bite sized parts with each chapter representing each short story with a total of ten. The text is a very good size too. This seems to be the set up as I look through the pages. I find this to be really organized, clean and will do a really good job at keeping complete beginners such as myself from getting overwhelmed. A true beginner friendly book.

Fun and Easy
Love the book, It includes Vocabulary from each story on the next page, so if your struggling on a definition of a certain word chances are it’s in the Vocabulary section. Which is super helpful!! Also if You haven’t already Korean Unnie has a YouTube channel in which she teaches Korean and makes it fun and easy to learn!

Great practice for reading Korean
One of the things missing from most text books is pure reading practice. I find the limited vocab that textbooks focus on doesn't help with "sight" reading and comprehension. My reading speed has already started to increase with this book. This helps greatly and there are videos on youtube with Unnie reading the stories - great for practising reading along. This helps with pronunciation and word recognition. I highly recommend this book for any low intermediate level learner. Support Unnie - she's a great resource for Korean learners...

Spoiled by badly formatted Korean story text margins.
I'm really surprised that this publication is not formatted properly. The Korean story text (on even pages) extends so far that it's too close to the spine - it's difficult and annoying to read. The margin at the spine should be much wider.Other parts of the book are formatted with plenty of space - but not the most important part - i.e. Korean story text. What a shame. I sent it back. I hope Korean Unnie fixes the problem.

Makes learning Korean easy and fun
I love this book. I’m somewhere around upper beginner/lower intermediate and it can be hard to find material that is accessible yet challenging. I’ve learned so much with this book and the accompanying audio. I also like that I’m learning the stories that all Korean’s have heard as it gives me that extra connection to the country. Once I’ve finished absorbing all I can from this book I will buy some of the author’s other materials.

Excellent learning product
Very useful for making learning Korean interesting as well as adding some of their folk tales to your knowledge. Reading just a chapter a day let’s you cover about 100-200 words.

Learn with youtube!
This is a great book. The stories are fun to read and it great to have the translation next to them. It's a great book to use along side the youtube videos which are entertaining and easy to follow. My only negative is I would like a gap between the lines of text, this will allow me to write on the story without it looking messy.
