Although the magnet may not be that strong, I find it strong enough for small pins, springs, etc. Since I've been using traditional round pucks for years without any magnet. This works fine and with the none skid bottom, can't go wrong. This should hold up well, seems well built for what it is. Good value.

For a cheap block this has to be the biggest for the price. I really like it and gives you more space to work with and keeping up with pins and parts thanks to the open bottom and small trays makes this product highly useful. I’ve used it to strip down two pistols and compared to my 40 dollar round block this is far superior. If you are just now getting into working on firearms or you have had other blocks you can’t go wrong with this purchase.

I just received the Pridefend Bench Block and must say that I am very impressed with the sturdy construction of the product. I read an earlier, two or three year old review of the product that commented on the apparent weak magnets in the two trays. That's no longer true. The magnets underneath the two trays are strong and hold small screws and pins securely. If you are a consumer-level, would-be tinkerer such as I am, this product will serve you well.

Works decent. Would recommend buying one specially designed if you use for a 1911 or an AR. Like one from Avid.

Very durable and tough, comes pre-oiled so thats good. I am happy with this product, I would recommend to a friend. This looks great and feels great, haven't used it yet so can't say how it holds up. Picking up some parts for my sig sauer p365xl, will update on how it holds up to the work. Its a different color than the one posted. But I like this one better. Overall it so far very satisfied. No wonder it goes quick. Product speaks for itself.

I really like this block. It's surprisingly sturdy with a nice rubbery surface and conveniently placed magnetic cups for the little parts. I only wish these were made in the US...

Even if you only have to disassemble a firearm once or twice a year you're going to want one of these. I wish I had gotten one sooner. I like that it is big enough to lay a full size pistol on. And you could still do some rifles on it too. If you had a second set of hands or a way to steady a rifle. Either way it keeps you from scratching, marring up your firearm, or putting holes in your wooden workbench when you drive a pin through. The little magnetic parts tray isn't the strongest magnet. But that's probably a good thing. it'd be kind of hard to fish the little pins out of the tray with big hands.

Even if it's made of plastic and probably made in China. It seems to be quite stout. The outer rubber ring is quite stout and it helps two fold. It helps keep your work stationary on the work bench and the gun or what have you stationary while on top of it. Also, the manufacturer/seller Pridefend has great customer service. These days customer service let alone great customer service is a rarity in this country. I thought I had an issue. They got with me ASAP and all is good. I'll be adding them to my favorite seller list.
