best budget keyboard ive been using this for as long as i can remember and its still in perfect condition, great quality, will last you 5 years or above i bought the red keys and they sound great. i kinda wish i got brown keys beceause the red and blue can sound loud and obnoxious to others. mos t keyboards have the problem of being too big and bulky. this one is super lightweight. clean. and will look great on your desk. no regrets. best purchase ive made on amazon probably in a hot minute. color options are great too. easy to clean. just amazing all around.

I must add that the keyboard works as described. It sounds good and works as described. But there's one problem: I'm not a fan of using the FN keys and such. As a result, I downloaded the RK program. It's a disaster. The lighting mods function properly, but changing the hue is quite difficult. If you select the hue teal, it will change to purple. The RGB numbers are less effective. I tried using an RGB code from Google, and the square displayed the proper color but not the keyboard. I use it to customize the effects. The custom color wheel is completely incorrect. I give it five stars since the software can be updated . Hardware is a 4.9/5 can be better . Do I recommend to buy for just $50 (at the time) yes. It’s worth it. Red switches are red switches and work just fine for me . Browns are also amazing and work as they should . Since I game , I use reds . (Quicker actuation and less travel distance) browns are for just typing . Blues for me are horrendous . Very off topic but it’s just to help the new people that want to buy RK keyboards.

Such a good keyboard for the price. Its a great starter mechanical keyboard and has great customization right out of the box. There are a ton of RGB lighting options to play with. If you go download the software you can further set up custom key commands. Again great for the price!!

Typing felt fine on the included switches, ended up swapping out the switches for reaper switches from an Aula f75 board. Size is very convenient for my desk, which lacks a lot of room even for a 75%. Backlighting looks good with plenty of options, my only complaint being there is not a true red color, only being able to step between a reddish pink and a scarlet orange which killed my idea of a white gaming setup with red lighting. Some of the shortcuts for windows functions feel a little awkward to navigate, such as the media keys. Most boards I've used have utilized an Fn1 and Fn2 key to help with this, but this only has one, which is used to switch between modes. I've used VIA programming with keyboards before so I didn't expect this to be a problem after fiddling a bit, but the way to use it requires a layout download from a dubious google drive link on this store page, or finding the website, of which there are two with only one having the right download for this board. After using it, I tried to create a 2nd Fn key for another layer but couldn't get it working consistently. Perhaps the driver is better about this, but I didn't want another third party device configuration program on my pc.

I love this mechanical keyboard it's my everyday use I use it to take for homework and everything else it's just so perfect to use and it connects straight to your computer or pc there is 0 lag it's never delayed it's fast the battery life on it is perfect the weight is about right not so heavy very light the keyboard functions so perfect and it's very appealing and comfortable to use it's easy to set up and also it's hot-swappable so you can throw on any types of switches you want it also comes with switches I personally like the red switches there just smooth and quite more better Bluetooth haven't tried that out I will soon get the Bluetooth version of this keyboard love it.

The third attachment on this review is a video of my typing. Turn on sound to hear it. PROS: -Typing feels amazing, the switches are perfect. Not too loud, but it satisfies my need for the "mechanical" sound. -There are so many color settings, so if you're worried about this fitting into your setup, it will fit any! -The small keyboard is great for desks with limited space. CONS: -The only con I have is I've never used a condensed keyboard before, so always having to press certain keys to make my arrow keys work (and others) took some getting used to. This is really my ONLY complaint, and that's only because I'm new to small keyboards. If you know what you're getting into, this shouldn't be an issue at all. All in all this keyboard is incredible, I got it on sale for around $25-30. Can't beat the quality and feel for the price. LOVE THIS KEYBOARD!

They keyboard came as expected. The RGB is very good and has many combos and stuff you can make with it. The sound on the red keys is amazing and sounds like heaven. When I first plugged it in many keys had some problems, but if you ask Chat GPT it tells you how to fix it. It was very easy to fix. Overall great keyboard.
