Great Batteries, Very Good Price
When I decided to start using rechargeable batteries, my research indicated that Eneloop were the ones to go for. I purchased numerous Eneloop batteries, and am very happy with them. However, as the battery usage increased in my home, I needed to purchase additional batteries and the Eneloops are rather pricey. I decided to take a risk on the EBL brand. The reviews I read were very good, but I was sceptical of these reviews since the price of the EBL's are so low compared to the Eneloops. I am happy to report that after numerous EBL battery purchases, I have found these to be just as good as the Eneloops. They hold their charge very well, and last just as long as the Eneloops. I have recharged some of my EBL's lots of times, and not noticed any drop in performance.I still will buy Eneloops (or the Amazon "Basic" brand) any time they are on sale, but am very happy with all of the EBL batteries I have purchased.

Best Economical Rechargable Batteries
I first knew EBL batteries dates back several years ago when I bought a few brands of 18650 batteries, and the EBL brand lasted the longest even though they displayed with less capacities. Since then, I have been buying all my rechargeable batteries from EBL. After the most recently purchased 32 batteries, I have accumulated about 80 EBL 1.2 volts rechargeable batteries. I found it is true as others pointed out that some batteries can not get charged once they are total discharged (Only a few batteries have the problem). However, the solution is using the charger showed to charge, those chargers can charge totally discharged batteries which can't be charged by other chargers. I have two other chargers, one is EBL 4 individual battery chargers, and another one is from another manufacture, and none of them can revive totally discharged EBL batteries only the 8 bay charger can.ONLY one drawback for the batteries. They come without a manufacture date. I have so many batteries and I do not want to mix them to get charged. Putting the dates with a sharpy can solve the problem. However, it is better that EBL can have the manufacturing date stamp on.

I don't have any guarantee that the next batch wouldn't have a bad one too
UPDATE 7/25/18: EBL Official apparently saw the rather negative 2-star review I submitted previously (see below) and reached out to me directly. They sent me four AAA replacements even though I only had 1 bad one, and 1 9V to replace my defective unit. All replacements took charge normally. THANKS EBL for great customer service. Apparently the seller I purchased these from was not EBL Official, and was not flexible enough to be able to send replacements. I'm upgrading my 2-star review to a 4-star review. 4-stars only because I was not able to resolve the issues through the original seller, and with two separate orders, I had a defective battery in each one.I have purchased two separate batches of EBL batteries. In each order, there was 1 defective unit which failed to take ANY charge. The only way I can get replacements is to return the ENTIRE order (all the batteries). I don't have any guarantee that the next batch wouldn't have a bad one too. Having said this, the balance of the first batch has been in use for half a year with good results so far.

Works like it should and lasts more than long enough to be worth it.
They charge well. They provide a decent amount of power (9 battery cloud light runs all night every night for about three weeks at full power before they start to die). If that’s even a good comparison. They’ve lasted in everything we put them in as long as regular batteries have in the past except when I’m done I recharge these and reuse them. So after two uses they paid for themselves. I use only these at the moment and haven’t had an issue. Vote of confidence.

These batteries aren't great
I was disappointed with these batteries. I had been planning to buy them for months because they appeared to be the best deal available, but I've come to find that these EBL 2800mah AA batteries do not last as long as my Eneloop 2550mah AA batteries.Pros:-A large amount of batteries for a good priceCons:-Most of the batteries were empty on arrival-The batteries do not hold 2800mahOverall, I would not recommend these batteries. I recommend you buy more established brands that accurately label their products.

i love these
they are great and work just like you would expect but they do lose charge over time. its a good idea to use them right after charging or to just fill them from time to time... it seems like they drop to about 70% of full over time and stay there for about 4 months b4 doping more. so charge them to full about every 2 mounts to get most out of them. still well worth it. also this is not a big deal all RECHARGING batteries do that. think of a car or phone setting turned off for a long while and then trying to turn it on.

Not LSD - so don't buy if you're looking for LSD batteries
These are definitely not LSD (Low-Self-Discharge). I tried multiple times, multiple lots - they all lose charge when kept over a month, some even over a week. If you're looking for LSD batteries, go for tried-and-tested eneloop - don't waste your money on these.Update 7/24/17 - I was contacted by customer service of EBL, who provided me replacements with a note that my earlier batch must have been defective. I've used the new batch for over a month now, and can confirm that this is still not LSD batteries. The charge dies out within 2 weeks, which is the worst ever, if kept on shelf unused. However, given that they work well if you recharge frequently and provide a full current for their life, and given that customer care is response, I've raised the feedback to 3 star. However, not being LSD is still a big defect for me, so they will lose 2 stars for that.

The ebl batteries are the best rechargable made.
They are awesome. I bought some D batteries 8 months ago, i finally had to charge them for the first time this past Sunday. The lasted three times longer than any other i have used for the same product. I will be getting another set of 4 D's and another set of the AA, & AAA batteries as well. I like them so well i have told all my friends about the long life of these batteries. I also told them you can recharge them twice as many times as the weeker (NOT) competition. I added the not because honestly they do not compete at all, compared to the ebl batteries. Your new faithful customer. The only thing is after i get all i need they last so long I won't be back often
