Cortas - Premium Halva 1 Lb / 454g (Chocolate)

I bought this after reading all the reviews saying it was too sweet, assuming that it would be just right for me. But it's really not that sweet, just sweet enough to taste like a dessert and not a salad dressing. Other than that, there's not much of a taste - the plain is very mild indeed.

This is stuff is great.Buy more than you think you should reasonably be allowed to consume, trust me.Nothing beats waking to the 3am twilight so eat Halvah alone in the kitchen like a starving goblin.

One of the many things I like to snack on at times is Halva. While browsing on Amazon I noticed the prices were high for the normal halva product I have purchased in the past; however, I came across this brand for what I thought was a bargain price, (Cortas-premium Halva, 1 pound-chocolate), of halva and I decided to purchase it.I was happy with the good delivery service. I opened box it came in and immediately tasted a piece of this halva and found it to be fresh and delicious. If you like chocolate halva you may want to try this brand. A little bit sweeter than I usually like.

Couldn't stop having some every evening until it was gone.

I've had Halva since I was a kid in Chicago. The taste of this Cortas Halva is okay, but the texture is off. It basically disintegrates into powder when you eat it. It needs to be more solid like the Halva (Joyva) I remember.
