Excellent pro-level blender!
This thing is magic. We've owned blenders before, but I couldn't believe this one could be used to make HOT SOUP! They also claim it is ridiculously easy to clean. Two claims that coming from my old cheap blender were hard to believe. My wife kept hinting she wanted to try one of these or the Vitamix, so I picked this one up as a gift. Why pick the Blendtec over the Vitamix? They're both similar, but I like knowing that Blendtec is the brand they use in Jamba Juice shops, and I must admit the youtube "Will It Blend" videos make it appealing in a fun way. There were some videos online that compared the two brands and found that the Blendtec actually also made food hotter with the same amount of blending time. Basically, dollar for dollar I feel like we get more with the Blendtec. This model didn't have the dedicated button for soup and things like that, but learning how to use the timed blend modes to do it instead works just fine. I've made some pretty epic smoothies and soups so far with it. And they were right, it IS easy to clean.I actually had an issue with my cup within a week of buying it because I did something silly (accidentally used something that made the cup smell bad for a long time afterwards). I complained to customer support that I didn't realize how negatively it would effect the use of the cup, and they were nice enough to send me another free cup of any style I wanted. All in all, I'm happy to have bought a solid product from a reputable brand who stays behind the quality of their products.

Motivates you to make shakes
Best purchase I’ve made. Spending more than $200 on a blender seems unreasonable, but if you are putting your health as a priority- it’s worth it. Actually spending $200+ on a blender motivates me to use it often. I make veggie smoothies everyday and I love how quick and nicely it breaks down all the veggies and ice cubes. Now I see why the hype is on this blender. It’s amazing. The materials are great and long lasting. This version does not have the self wash feature but I just rinse it with water in the sink and takes less than 20 seconds but of course it depends if you used any sticky ingredients then it will take a bit longer to wash but it’s definitely not a nuisance. I’m always excited to use this blender and make my smoothies! I love making a kale, orange, mint, cilantro, lime shake in the morning. It really makes a difference in my mood. I feel great and I’m sure I no longer have anemia from the iron I now consume. It’s a total win!

A fine example of quality that more than pays for the difference in price from cheaper units.
I really like this blender and glad I decided to emphasize quality over price. Turns ice into snow in no time. Nice to have 10 second and 30 second buttons which means I can select the time I need and do other things in the kitchen. 10 seconds does the ice, I put in my smoothie ingredients, hit 30 then pour. The plastic container is lighter than glass so easy to handle and clean. The base is very stable and it is much quieter than my cheap Cuisinart. The only negative, and it’s small, is that the clear plastic top that fits in the cover, fits quite loosely. You can’t lift the lid with it...the top just comes off.

Powerful but could use a little more endurance
This review is totally biased based on how I like my smoothies so consider thatMy previous blender was a vitamix. That brand is totally over priced and can't hold a match to Blendtec imo. This Blendtec would grind up small vehicles if you could fit them in jar.I like my smoothies on the thick side (think soft serve ice cream but a tad thicker). I use frozen bananas and either frozen (mangos or cherries or blueberries) in addition to greens, protein powder, and almond milk. The blender will destroy the frozen fruits quickly, but once the concoction gets thick it really bogs down the motor and you can feel it get warm. I've started to add more almond milk to assist with the thickness and so the motor doesn't fry, but I'm always on the lookout for that perfect blender.Maybe I need a diesel powered one!

Blendtec is a great blender! Top notch!
LOVE this blender!!! I like it better than my Vitamix. Needed a second blender and the price was in my budget, unlike getting another Vitamix would have been. And it’s quieter too! It is also much easier to clean than my Vitamix. This basic Blendtec model performs all of my blending needs. I do wish the manual was a bit more complete at explaining the functions of this model though. And a little “cookbook” would have been nice, for this model, like how to best make nut butters, etc., just basics. But all is well, I figured everything out with the internet to help. I have had it 6 months. No complaints. Still in love! 😁

Powerful Basic Blender
I really like this blender because it does the job. It is very noisy but you can't have everything. My last blender was a Ninja and it was so hard to get clean. You can easily clean this blender because the blade is not sharp. It does not have a spout to pour the contents but my smoothies pour into a glass just fine. I just drain the last bit and then use a spatula to scrape the sides so there is very little waste. If you want all the fancy settings this blender is not for you. It just has 30 second, 10 second, slow blend, faster blend settings.

Incredibly powerful.
I use the Blendtec every day for our nutritious smoothies. It is powerful and easy to use. It is noisy, but one can buy the cover, as I have seen in coffee shops. I would highly recommend buying this Blendtec.

Disappointed in this blender
I bought a Blendtec classic Fit . It worked well for a few months. Then it slowed down and started smoking and switched off by its self. I live alone and don't abuse it. No excuses. Just make smoothies a couple days a week. I just put it in the trash for pick up today . I ordered a different brand blender today. I also bought one for my daughter, NEVER AGAIN. Sara from Florida
