Bought to connect to my 3.5mm Apple earbuds to my phantom power amp (need more length). Sound was as expected and has held up great over the past few months. Would recommend!

When works good but quality seems to vary cable to cable
Quality seems to be variable. I am on my 4th of these cables. The first one worked great, so I bought a few more to use at work etc. Unfortunately, I had to throw out two of them out of the box because they did not produce the same quality as plugging directly into the laptop (same headset, using this cable, clear sound loss) and / or the laptop did not detect this as a microphone. Not a laptop issue, easy test: plug in direct, plug in direct, works, plug in with this cable, doesn't work. Seems to be the the cables themselves. Should be a straight forward product to produce but clearly is not.

Only Apple Ear Buds Extension that works the Remote Controls
I have run through many other Apple Ear Buds extension cables but this is the only one yet that works the remote controls from an Apple Ear Buds, i.e. Volume Up/Down, Pause/Play, FF/RW. All other cables do not work the remote controls. Also this cable is well made.

Not working with new airbuds
The connection between my brand new airbuds and the extender resulted in horrible sound quality. After playing with the connection of the two - it was evident that it was this product and not the airbuds. Airbuds to computer are 100% perfect. Seems like a design issue for male to female aux cable based on other reviews that I just read.

Works Great
I’ve been using this for several weeks now. Sometimes I just need to not wear the headset I have for my meetings, but I need more mobility than the 3 feet my EarPods gave me. Having this extension is great. I can stand up and stretch or move around a little while giving my ears a break from that larger headset.

Good but careful with male side handle
The price is good and does its job well. The cord is not too stiff but sound quality is good. The connections are fairly tight (at least initially). In fact, the plastic cover (or handle) on the male side came loose on me. I must have pulled too hard on it.
