Great for use as an icebreaker at corporate training events!
This is a GREAT icebreaker for use during corporate training events or informational gatherings. We used six of the standard Story Cube sets at our tables, but used this Batman set on the seventh. Each table was responsible for playing the game, and then reporting back to the rest of the room a short summary of how their story evolved. If you've ever played Rory's with adults, you already know the results were pretty funny. As a corporate training director for an organization of 80,000 associates, I HIGHLY recommend the entire Rory's collection for a great icebreaker to start your day of training.I deducted one star because the small black box used for this set doesn't match the orange-green-blue boxes of the original-voyages-actions sets. What's up with that?

Another great set of cubes.
I love Rory's Story Cubes. I have every set and use it mainly for brainstorming and creativity exercises. I love the randomness of it and helps me get in a writing mood. I bought the Batman one more for its game aspect and just getting them, I can tell they will be great fun. Just in the first minutes of opening and looking at the dice, my husband and I were chuckling and donning our best movie guy announcer voices and making up stories. I think that even though you are limited to the world of Gotham, the randomness of the roll of the dice can lead to hours of fun and I can see this working better without younger nieces who sometimes struggle with playing with the normal cubes.

they will love these Batman Action Story Cubes
If you have a Batman fan in the house, they will love these Batman Action Story Cubes. Such a clever idea- they really work to get the imagination going. With so many combinations, your kids will have a ball with all of the storylines they can concoct. We liked them so much I bought another set for my "less enthusiastic about Batman" set. I'm so glad they also come with a container. I do wish however that it was a bit bigger, or at least more brightly colored so that it wasn't so easy to look over in the game closet.

Gift for my "author" nephew.
This was a Christmas gift for one of my nephews. He's 8 and loves reading and writing. He's written "books" for family members already. Trying to find a Batman toy that fit his personality was hard. Then I ran across Rory's Story Cubes. This was perfect! I had never heard of them before, so I looked up what they were and how they worked and knew it would be perfect for him. From what I understand, you roll all the dice and make a story out of what's shown. This even came with a list of what all the pictures are in case you forget. Great gift for a little author.

Have fun concocting Batman stories
My son (age 6) loves these story cubes. Such a simple concept but it inspires lots of creative back and forth. We usually play as a family and he particularly loves listening to his non-comics savvy mom try to fill in the gaps while concocting Batman-related stories. Because the game is picture-based there's no reading involved. Once a kid understands (with parents initial help) what the symbols on the cubes represent, they can continue playing the game with each other regardless of reading comprehension. A great way to prompt storytelling and get the imagination flowing.

Helps with language
I bought these for my son, who is starting to write in school. I thought the story cubes would be great to help expand his vocabulary/sentences and come up with great stories. These worked great. It helps that they are batman dice because my son loves superheroes. We also have the original ones that we can interchange to make different stories. To expand on the story cubes we act out the scene and use improv dialogue.I would recommend these to help children create not only sentences but stories.

Love Batman
The kids are our after school program love using these to write stories. Batman is always a hit and can get a little interesting. Be aware, with villans, you may get some vilant made up stories so if you need to keep things age appropriate, keep that in mind.

Awesome!
My four year old LOVED this. In fact, he opened this on Christmas morning and this was the second gift he opened. He had no interest in seeing what the other gifts were. We had to convince him to finish opening his other gifts and he went right back to this when he was done.Great way to encourage children to explore their creative side! LOVE IT, Great idea!
