Excellent build quality and holds Chromebook well. Only improvement needed would be a handle but I knew that when I bought it. I recommend this product.

Does exactly what it says it’ll do.

This laptop sleeve provides a good, secure fit for my 15-inch. The zip opens across a whole long edge, and about a third of the way down each shorter edge, so it's very easy to slip the machine in and out, and there's some give in it, allowing me to also put in documents when necessary. There's a separate outer zip pocket where I can store my charging cable.The sleeve is padded with a foam that feels tough and protective while not being bulky. The outer material is a subtle dark grey that looks attractive. Because it's compact, it is easy to put into my backpack. The zip is smooth. Overall I feel like this is a good way to keep my laptop from getting knocks and damage, especially in transit.

This is a good, practical, simple laptop sleeve. The outer is a textured, canvas style fabric. The sleeve is a discreet, simple black colour, with matching zips that have the amazon basics logo on them. The sleeve is padded. On the inside of the main pocket, this is lined with a soft, fluffy fabric. In addition to the main pocket, this has a side pocket that also fastens with a zip. This pocket is not padded (although the inner side shares the padded wall of the main compartment), but is lined with a smooth, grey fabric - adequate to store cabling away from a laptop, helping to prevent scratching, or for a few accessories. No knock-resistant plastic/rubber added to the corners. No pricing information available at the time of writing, so difficult to assess value for money.

This is a neat and tidy laptop sleeve from AmazonBasics. It easily fits my Dell 15 laptop. It is padded and has one external pocket, which is handy for keeping the cord stowed away. The make quality is reasonable and it is perfectly serviceable for a bargain priced item.

I have a laptop bag which is great for travelling around with my macbook with, but sometimes I want to carry it around with protection but using another bag and this is perfect for those situations.It is a simple yet effective design with a zip on the side you can slip your laptop inti with easy and know it will be well protected.It also has a zip on the front you can put smaller items into. I tried my iPad and that did not quite fit but that is probably because I have a solid case on it already. A iPad without a case might fit in. Otherwise a phone will fit easily or you can use it for things like wires and other accessories for your laptop.It is well padded so you could likely drop this with your computer in and it will probably be fine. And also the thickness and material means it probably has some water resistance. You could carry it in the rain without much problem though not completely submerge it in water without it getting in.Generally this is a nice simple method to protect your computer with a tough padded exterior and means you can carry it around in hand or under your arm or put it in another bag

Nice protection but adds a little too much bulk for my liking. It's OK but not great.

Pros:- Feels well made. The main construction is solid and the zips feel like they will last.- It will protect the contents as well as any other sleeve or budget laptop bag. I am surpised at how solid the sides of this bags are.- The side pocket is handy for pens, USB stick and other odds and ends.Cons:- You could not store anything bulky in this, such as a power adpaptor. Even a mouse would be difficult to fit in. But it is probably not intended for this. It just seems to me to be a major drawback of these slim cases/sleeves.Summary:This is handy for situations where you just need to carry a laptop and little else, for instance when going into a meeting at work. If you need to transport more, such as power adaptor or mouse, you would need something more bulky. But this is definitely good if used for its intended purpose.
