Perfect bathroom faucet
This faucet was installed in a 1940's era bathroom so it's classic styling was ideal. It's built to withstand continuous daily use while requiring very little upkeep; it can be cleaned in a couple minutes. I've never installed a faucet in my life and had absolutely no problem installing this one. The instructions were clear and precise with helpful diagrams as well. It took me less than half an hour to install it although it took me considerably longer to get the old one out. I'd highly recommend this faucet as a solid midline priced product that should be good for years to come.

Chemical odor; water flow rate
The set is nice looking and what I expected. My plumber did charge me extra for some part(s) that were needed, but I do not know if the part was something that was bad on my plumbing or something that could/should have been included with the set. I have noticed a chemical type odor. This could be from a protective coating applied to the metal that will wear off, or something my plumber used to clear the drain. Another thing I noticed is the reduced water flow that is mandated by California's code. It is probably easier for manufacturers to make all their products compliant no matter what states the faucets will be sold in. (We are in Virginia.) However, the greater flow is preferable for several tasks, including giving my toothbrush a good flushing and flushing a fresh stain out of a garment. But since we use a lot of water and our water bill is always really high, this is probably more economical.
