Company is awesome!
We purchased this Jetson scooter for our daughter for Christmas and we thought it was a beautiful scooter. Well is was way to cold to use it. Once it warmed up a bit our daughter could not wait to ride it! She went on her first ride and absolutely loved it and decided to let her younger sister test it out. Her little sister drops it and completely breaks the throttle! Everyone was so upset and we decided to give it a shot to contact the company to get it fixed. Jetson was hands down an awesome company. No question asked they sent us a free shipping return label, took the scooter back and sent her a brand new one in a incredible timely matter. We have a happy daughter and would buy from this company again. What a blessing that good companies still exist out there!

I was hesitant at first, however, SO WORTH IT!
After comparing multiple scooters from $900 to $200 I lucked out with such an excellent scooter that runs perfectly. I haven't had ANY issues whatsoever. The only downfall is that the battery might run out after 1 hour of straight use not braking (so you can give yourself an idea how long the battery lasts) Great for urban use since its a compact scooter and can take it into stores anywhere (haven't had any issues so far). Not too heavy just about right, strong frame and just straight up FUN!Not good for rural areas or LOOOOONG distances because you might run out of juice.Hope this review helps in your selection for your next scooter :)

Buyer beware! nice scooter but they "break easily" quoted from rep
We purchased two of these scooters for kids to use. After a week of minimal use the throttle on one would not work. I contacted Jetson to troubleshoot. At first they were very helpful. We confirmed it was the throttle and Maryam said she would be in touch when a new handle piece would be shipped to replace the broken one. Jetson confirmed in email the throttle piece was under warranty. Two weeks later I called again sinceI had not heard when it would ship. When I contacted Jetson again, I spoke to a woman named Chris who immediately said that "unfortunately they do not cover the throttle under their warranty. The throttle breaks easily" and wanted me to purchase a new one for $59.99 plus shipping. We are returning the scooter to Amazon. It is too bad they are nice scooters, but beware they break easily and are not covered under warranty.UPDATE: All three scooter have had issues and are unreliable. They are all going back.

Great for what it is; cheap entry level escooter
As stated in title, this is one of the cheapest escooters on Amazon, and some minor flaws come with that.Weigh 180 lbs and never got it over 10-11 mph. But range is decent (if you were worried like me it would be no where close to their claimed range)Motor isn't too powerful, it's noticeably slower if you're going up a steep hill. If you're going up an incline, expect 5-7 mphInstructions were bad, they mixed up mph/kph toggle with power off. How to operate:1. Turn on: 1x medium press2. Turn off: 1x long press (or plug into charger)3. Led headlight: 2x press4. Change speed to/from kph/mph: 3x pressOn the LCD you can see a left/right turn signal, but scooter doesn't actually have that feature (lcd display being a generic escooter one)The battery meter measures current capacity of that instant. Meaning if you go full throttle you may drop 1-2 battery bars quickly. But the instant you stop, it goes back to "full".Brake: The handle bar one ONLY slows you down by applying friction to your wheel. IT WONT quickly stop you. But the rear wheel has a step break (like classic Razr scooters where you press down and it slows the wheel). So if you want to break, use the foot break. If you want to slow down, use the one on the handle bars.Overall, for the price of the scooter you get a decent product. I was worried about getting a no name Chinese off brand scooter that doesn't remotely do what the listing says, but luckily this meets my expectations.TL-DR; Weigh 180 and can get up to 12 mp/h (20 km/h), after 5 miles battery is still around half. Doesn't do well climbing steep inclinations.

Did I charge excessively? Nope don’t think I did.
Let’s be honest, do you like electronic power?? If so you’ll be better with a Jetson Scooter , rather than walking. I can affirm this first hand. If you need to travel at least 10 long blocks a day give it a go. Battery has a life of itz own really depends how much sleep it has(charge time). A few small tips include cleaning and keeping in dry storage or outside, however itz still kicking after few am trips with 80% precipitation. Now there is a warranty avlb for a small price. I bought the combo and still enjoying it.

Terrible battery and incorrect Max mileage
The Good: sleek design, can handle flat nyc bike paths with ease and not too heavy. I carried it up and down train station steps with ease.THE BAD AND THE UGLY: Would not recommend for commuting. After reading it can travel up to 12 miles with a single charge I thought my 6 mile commute would be no issue. WRONG! Battery depleted after 4 flat miles and barely any braking. It started slowing down and jerking after 10 blocks of 14mph and level 3. After taking it down to to level 1 it died 15 blocks later. After charging it to full battery at work I thought leaving it at level 1 with the top speed of 9 miles per hour I could at least make it home. NOPE battery full depleted at 5.6 miles and now I’m on the train with a dead scooter. Needless to say I will be returning and very upset with the misleading information that Jetson provides that’s very important when purchasing electric scooters and bikes! THUMBS DOWN!
