Delta 144789-BL-I Vesna Shower Faucet, Matte Black

We have yet to use this, but have put it in our home we are rennovating and it is very sturdy, high quality. We have always tried to stick with delta plumbing fixtures at the suggestion of our plumber living in older homes they have held up much better than other brands and worth spending a bit more.

We buy Delta for our remodels and rentals. They last. Yes price point models have some finished plastic that looks like chrome but they hold up and have some spot free layer on them. If you want all metal it costs a lot more than this. These hold up to use we have bought several.

Updated from 1 to 4 stars. While I'm not thrilled that anything less than $1000 is plastic, which cracks, I was in line on hold with Delta for about 30 seconds. Sent them a pic of the faucet and Amazon invoice. Whole new shower is on the way. (I couldn't find just a part.) So good save, Delta.It's been less than a year and the joint between the threaded pipe (ie the wall elbow) and the shower head is cracked and spraying. It sprayed over the curtain onto the floor enough to cause the baseboard to swell. We'll be searching for a replacement part today. If we can't find one, we're done with Delta.

Product looks good, but missing the handle trim piece making it so it cannot be sealed and used. When called Delta's support they said they would send replacement but would take 8-10 days to make the part but after asking for it to be expediated, they threw in 2-day shipping. Since shower is unusable, I went through multiple "supervisors" who all said same thing with no power to make it right to the customer. One manager "found" the part and would send it with free (with no extra charge-really?). Even when I suggested they order a new one from Amazon that could be here tomorrow and I would remove missing part from that box and return, they would not budge. Customer service very lacking. No offers for discount despite over 40minutes on phone and extra hassle of part missing. There is not even a parts list in the box to confirm what parts should be in the box before you get started!

Regulates water temperature very well and has a long hose for the handheld shower head which is great for bathing the dog. Initially gave this product a poor review based on a broken shower diverter in the downspout but Delta eventually stood behind their product and sent a new downspout. I installed the replacement and realized that the problem with the first downspout was caused by incorrect installation by the contractor that remodeled our bathroom. The correctly installed part has been working fine since installing.

We just had this installed in the kids newly remodeled bathroom. They love it and I tried it a couple of times, works great and nice adjustments. Also washed the dogs in the but and the removable wand part was great. Was worried the wand part would fall or not stay in place, its great. Doesn't fall and easy to take down and put back up. Plumber installed the fixture and said it was easy.

We bought this as part of a bathroom renovation project. We gave the box to the installer and he put most of it together during the final step. Two things:The handle could not be secured on the valve because it was missing a small securing screw.The faucet could not be secured because a piece inside was missing a hole for the screw to go into to secure the faucet onto the bar.I did call delta and they were happy to send replacement pieces, but it’s a 10-12 day wait at this point, when I thought this project would be done by now. Also, because of the faucet not being secured, we can’t use our shower right now either.I gave some stars for this item because it is a nice set - assuming we get it working at some point. But beware of tiny missing pieces or pieces that don’t do what they’re supposed to.

Love love love this faucet. Looks great in my shower. No problems with water pressure. Works wonderfully!!!!
