I Still Believe: A Memoir

I have loved Jeremy Camp’s songs since his first album. I don’t go to concerts and never heard the story behind the music that has impacted me for about 20 years. This book is an amazing view to the heart of the music. It is a must read for anyone who loves the song “I Still Believe”!

So touching, couldn't help crying. Thank you so much for telling me the story, which have brought the great impact on my life.

This story made me cry, laugh, pray and appreciate life much more! Thankful that Jeremy Camp chose to allow God to use him to share his hardest times to minister to others! A wonderful story from beginning to end of the book!

I saw the I still believe movie (which was really good) but then a while later came across the book Melissa' mother wrote containing Melissa's journals and ordered it and was astounded by the faith and love of this girl. Then i saw this and thought well it might add a little more of his feelings/story than the movie so i ordered a used copy and wow, i am truely impressed by the faith of this man. So much more information about him and his life and his faith I always liked his music but now i just have such a tremendous amount of respect for this man. These 2 books his and her journals really challenged me as a Christian making me want the kind of faith the she had and he has. I highly recommend both books.

In 2009 I lost my youngest daughter who was 21 and though it was the hardest thing I had ever had to deal with or will ever have to deal with, Jeremy Camps music..the words of his songs that came from his broken heart, helped get me through that time of struggling with my own beliefs in the God I once knew. For the first year, all I did was plug my iPod in and get on my elliptical and sing Jeremy's songs at the top of my lungs. It brought me comfort, healing and peace in a way I don't think anything else could have. I couldn't pray, couldn't read my Bible and couldn't function on a normal, every day basis. This music and his story helped me through. I am now just finishing reading this book and it is a great one to read if you are struggling through a loss and grief that comes with it. I encourage you to download his songs and listen to them and let the healing begin. The Bible says we are able to comfort others with the comfort we have been given and this is just what this wonderful man of God does through his story and through his music! Thank you Jeremy for sharing your journey and for being obedient to God when He called you to pick up your guitar!

I never give a 5 star review but this deserves it. I loved the love story and even the death story even though it rips your heart out. I think it's when you find the blessings from tragic circumstances that God used the most. Melissa dying allowed many others to live eternally because of her testimony. Man I hope I can leave that kind of legacy. And Adrianne what a woman. She loves Jeremy and God enough to let Melissas light still shine because it matters to the audience she's reaching and because she was a lovely human. Jealousy hasn't interrupted their marriage and caused Melissa's story not to continue to shine. Jeremy was blessed with two wonderful women. Enjoyed the movie too. I cried so much but felt Gods presence all around it.

Wonderful book and really spoke to my heart. God can get us through all if you trust in him totally

Jeremy Camp exposes his heart and mind to God, and to the reader. The emotion and honesty is raw and real. If you have seen the movie 'I Still Believe', you must read the book. So good.

Jeremy writes with an easy understanding to the reader. Emotions easily felt and conveyed. Very powerful and thankful he shared for us all to experience.

I loved every moment of this book, I seriously couldn’t put it down. Such a powerful testimony. I am really looking forward to seeing the movie!
