Nice for the price !
Nice head unit, well made and works as expected . Touch screen is not real sensitive but functional with patience. DVD picture quality is great, sound quality is great but volume control is kinda slow tapered. Paired with a back up camera, the video is really good. All in all for the money you can't beat JENSEN. Nice up grade to my 2008 F350 Super Duty. I'm well pleased with it !

Good budget car stereo
Installed on 2010 Ford Escape. Fit perfect into Meta kit. Was easy to install and I retained all functions including SWC, when paired with the proper harness (I usedPAC RP4-FD11 RadioPRO4 Interface for Ford Vehicles with CAN bus.) The Ford I installed this unit into was missing the secondary chassis ground strap. For this particular vehicle, factory radios do use a chassis ground strap, therefore I attached one to this radio. A missing ground strap might cause the radio not to power up at all. Radio will not be defective, just not properly grounded.

Very good upgrade....with some caveats
First of all, stop asking if it will fit your vehicle. If you have a standard double-din stereo, it'll fit. If not, remove the dash (you're gonna have to anyway) and measure. You may have to make alterations. Otherwise, ask whoever will be installing it if it will fit. These stereos are "universal". Which means, if you're like me, some modifications will be needed.Even with the "install kit", I had to make modifications. I installed myself which means I got a wire cutter/crimper, a ratchet screwdriver for angled dash screws, A dremel tool to shave down plastic, a voltage meter, and special pliers to bend metal. If I was willing to forego having a cd/dvd player, I could have gotten a less deep unit). Not to mention the regular tools. And I still had to run to the store mid-install to replace fuses. All that done, the receiver immediately sounded much better than the stock stereo. I had no idea the stock speakers could sound so good and clear! adjusting the EQ made it even better! It seems like the bluetooth (I subscribe to spotify) sounds slightly dimmer/muddier, but still totally acceptable. I play music, have a home studio. This is not the clarity of my studio headphones, but much better than a stock unit. The bluetooth connected easily and phone calls sounded fine through the speakers. 2 callers said I was hard to hear but I spoke up and wasn't an issue. There's an option to download contacts to make calling someone a one-button procedure.CDs and DVD's play fine. Great (but small, think phone size) screen.MicroSD I loaded with songs worked flawlessly and sounded great. Same with USB.Some notable issues are:You're limited to 4 choices of wallpaper and you can't upload your own. The backgrounds all look about 20 years old.The interface is NOT intuitive and I had figure out how to get from one screen to another. The touchscreen is not great and you sometimes have to press multiple times for the input to register. Not something I look forward to while driving. The volume knob isn't sensitive and takes multiple turns to raise or lower volume. There is a noticeable whirring sound when playing a CD/DVD.Before, I was heavily reliant on my phone for music or to watch a movie to kill time. This involved an auxiliary cord into my stock stereo and propping it up on the dash. Now, with bluetooth, it's more convenient and cleaner. Considering it took me about 8 hours over 2 days to install it (Plus extra cost of tools and supplies), I'm glad I went with Jensen which has a history of quality audio products. I have more options and makes better use of the dash/receiver space. It took a little work, but it's worth it! Especially since the sound was soooo much better! The caveats I mentioned, I can live with. A crappy sounding stereo I can't.

Good sound
I installed the Jenson 6.2 CD DVD player in my 1999 Chevy Silverado and it sounds great ! Everything thang work. I paid under under $ 100 for this radio and I couldn't be happier. I have used Jenson brand years ago and I have never had any problems with them. You will need a wire adapter to plug in to your vehicles wire harness to the radio wire harness , you can find them on Amazon website , antenna adapter, For my truck, I had to get a different instrument cover because the factory radio is wider . I found the cheapest on ebay for $ 70 with free shipping. PS : If you are planning on using the DVD player, you can just ground the pink wire under the dash somewhere. Make sure it's grounded or the DVD player will not work . Please 🙏 DO NOT drive and watch a movie AT the same time!!!

3 months in DOA
*** updating review as it is not working it worked good after a 3 months made a stop at a client and when i left stereo was dead fuses were fine now power no sound*** Don't waste your moneyfirst thing I noticed was only one RCA output for a sub vs the standard 2. I called support to verify that it wasn't mislabeled he said I needed to purchase a Y adapter to run a sub . so I moved on installed easy enough like most others. the system is very basic no about 5 preset EQ settings you can customize it if you would like it. it has no cross over settings for the subwoofer. it hooks up to my iPhone via blue tooth fine. Call operation seems to function ok. the touch screen is very laggy trying to skip a song sometimes takes a couple of presses to register touch. I traditionally purchase Pioneer or Sony I just didn't want to pay the price for them. sound quality is ok its not bad but nothing to write home about either i only ran it for a day on the factory speakers and replaced them with JBL club speakers (which costed more than the head unit) . would i have been happier with a Pioneer or Sony yes but this is ok for the money. the features i wanted are a setting you set one time it will be fine until it breaks or I get too frustrated

Great for the price
I paid $140 for this same thing off Crutchfield.com about 2 years ago. Had a roof leak that wiped the radio out. Bought this one off Amazon for $80. Same issues the other one had, BT connectivity is kind of a pain. Will disconnect at random. Usually have to turn the thing off and reconnect. Or can click back and click on bt device and sound comes back. Other than that, it works pretty well. I love the DVD player side of it.
