SHIMANO BR-M446 BL-M445 Hydraulic Brake Front & Rear White RT56 160mm Rotor

Even though they have a note in the description telling people that the left lever controls the rear caliper and the right controls the front, they need to make it more noticeable in the description such as "BEWARE" or "ATTENTION"....... Every bike that I know of has left lever controlling the front and right lever controlling the rear. I had to switch the levers and now I need to buy a brake bleeding kit because I have air in the brake lines from switching the levers.

I had trouble installing, had to take to bike shop. The hydraulic tubes to the rear were a little to short. I had to take to shop to see what they could do. What they had to do was order new tubing from Shimano. If you don't mind the added cost and longer down time, THEY ARE GREAT. I would before ordering, inquire about tube length. (My bad I didn't. LESSON LEARNED). If they happen to fit your bike, by all means BUY!!!I do have to say SHIPPING WAS AWESOME!!!! Arrived 3 weeks be for scheduled (but lost that time to shop time! LOL )Happy fast trails to YOU !!!

replaced a set of mechanical discs with these and they work great. the hose lengths worked out perfect on my trek x-cal. might take a while to learn my front brake is now on the right side, but doable. shipping was faster than estimated but still slow (2 weeks to the states). no special tools needed just install and go.

DO NOT BUY SHIMANO from Amazon if you want a reasonable avenue for warranty service. The front brake failed within 100 miles (all fluid leaked out) Amazon or Rock Bros. Shimano will not deal with consumers over the phone, and expect a lengthy, snail-mail form to be filled out for their review BEFORE YOU EVEN RETURN THE ITEM. In the mean time, you're without brakes. Garbage brakes, garbage seller.
