Nice touch, Works with USB and Windows 8
After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure I'd like the touch of the keyboard, but I was pleasantly surprised... it has a slight but nice "click" when you depress keys so that you can tell you actually did hit a key (some keyboards have such a light touch that you aren't quite sure if your finger accomplished it's aim).We use it with a Windows 8 Bluetooth-enabled computer, an iPhone and iPad. It doesn't take any longer to pair with the iPhone/iPad than any other bluetooth device... maybe half a second to a second (and I've had better luck holding down the key briefly rather than just a quick tap). Using the bluetooth connection with our Windows 8 computer is not as reliable... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - it can unexpectedly quite mid typing. We've solved the problem by just hooking it directly into our computer with the included USB cable and then there are no problems. It's easy to disconnect/reconnect if you want to take the keyboard somewhere. The pictures need updated... the numeric keypad IS normal, not "wrong" like in the photos. (123 actually is on the bottom, 456 in the middle, 789 on the top). The numeric keypad works GREAT, but then that is a big reason we got this keyboard in the first place. I can slide my hands over to it without looking and get numbers typed in - without ever looking. (I always have to look at the numbers above the qwerty row).On our computer the little button with the "square" on the bottom left opens an internet browser window. When paired with an iPhone/iPad it is the equivalent of hitting the home key.The little magnifying glass key on the bottom right switches keyboard layouts, on all devices. (between English and Russian for example). The command key when paired with Windows 8 is the same as hitting the Windows key - it takes you to the start screen. When paired with an iOS device, holding the command key down with the "home" "end" buttons makes them work as expected. (on the computer they simply work as marked without holding down an additional key)The volume up/down/mute buttons work as you'd expect on all devices. You can press any key on the keyboard to "wake" up your iOS device. The brightness keys at the top and the screen moving key and the key with the little rectangles up top don't seem to do anything on any of our devices. The "power button" doesn't seem to affect our Windows 8 computer, but it will "shut down" our iOS devices. If someone is at the computer, or if I just don't feel like sitting at the desk, I like being able to sit in the living room and type an email on my iPhone with this keyboard. I do that because I'm a LOT faster at touch typing than finger typing. We do keep a little wireless keyboard in the cupboard so that if I take the keyboard away the computer isn't left without one.One thing I'd like to see them implement in a future release would be the ability to assign a specific task to a key rather than just a default that (as far as I can tell) cannot be changed. (For example, I would use a calculator key way more than the key that pops open an internet browser).

Excellent Keyboard
This keyboard is great. I needed something with a 10 key attached so I didn't have to use an external one, so I opted for this over the standard Apple bluetooth keyboard. I've had it for a year, plenty of time to offer a review. The bluetooth switching works great! I have it paired with my iPhone, iPad, and Mac mini. I can switch pretty easily between the three devices. It takes a second or two to catch, but it's really not that long.It feels just fine when typing. The size, weight, and spacing are all perfect. I spend my time primarily editing video, editing photos, and writing papers. All in all, for a year, this has been an excellent keyboard for me. I will gladly buy another one when this one runs down.

Could be more solidly made...
I really wanted a full sized keyboard with a number pad, but also wanted it to be multi-channel bluetooth wireless so I can to use it for my stationery iMac, my laptop that uses the iMac as a monitor and my tablet. As a bonus it evens works well with my Samsung Galaxy S5. The feel of the keys is not quite as responsive as any Apple keyboard – you have to push some of them, especially the spacebar and command keys, a little harder than you do on the Apple keyboards. But, that's what you'd expect for such a big price difference, the Apple full-sized keyboard isn't wireless but costs more than this one. Also, even though I've had the keyboard for only 3 months, some of the printed letters are already starting to rub off, probably from the extra pressure I now type with to make sure the keys are pressed all the way. Not really a big deal though. The construction is not as solid either, the body is all plastic as opposed to Apple's all aluminum keyboards, so it bends a little in the middle when typing with the heavier finger strokes. Again, you get what you pay for. The fact that I have to type with a little more "authority" than I used to, there's no light indicator for the caps lock key and it's not as sturdy as I expected are the reasons for the three stars. There's three bluetooth buttons at the top along with one wired port, so you can hook up to four devices to it and switching between them is seamless with the push of a button. This is the functionality I really wanted and I couldn't find another keyboard that has this feature in full-size with a number pad.Nevertheless, it's a decent product, especially for the price and the functionality you get. Again, my main gripe goes back to the insensitivity of the keys, but that's probably related to it being made of plastic and it flexes a bit as you type. I would definitely spend a little more cash for a similar keyboard with more Apple-like construction, but I couldn't find such a product.

Not an Apple quality product but the wire free is invaluable. Sync is instant. 2nd one as first one lasted 2 yrs before some fault happened whereby caps lock stopped working. Its the right price.

Almost a great product, but...
This seems like a great idea, but a couple of small things let it down.- Since this is made specifically with Mac users in mind, it is a shame that the keys are not quite in the write place. This means typing can take slightly longer getting used to where the spacing is.- There symbols on above the numbers are not replicated in the screen. For instance what should be a $ comes up as a #. The £ symbol if not visible and you have to remember under which control function it is hidden.- It is not as rigid or robust as a mac keyboard. It bounces when you type as it is made of plastic. The functionality of how it links multiple computers works well. However I am afraid I have sent it back as these niggles made it to irritating to use.
