Howard Products RF4016 RF3016 Restor-A-Finish, 16 oz, Walnut, 16 Fl Oz

I’m honestly impressed with this product. I used Restor-A-Finish on an antique piece that had a lot of faded areas, scratches, and years of wear, and I wasn't expecting such dramatic results. It brought much of the wood back to life, blended in small imperfections, and restored the richness of the finish without having to completely strip or refinish the majority of it. It was easy to apply, and the transformation was almost immediate. The piece looks refreshed while still keeping its original character and patina. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to revive older wood furniture without a full restoration project. The top of the piece had many marks and large imperfections i did not expect the Restor-A-Finish to magically fix, but I tried it out of curiosity figuring I'd still need to fully refinish anyway. The marks are definitely there, but the wood looks so healthy I might just leave it. I applied using #0000 steel wool and followed treatment up with Howard Feed-N-Wax to seal it in and continue feeding the starved wood.

Have used this product for years, on so many different pieces of furniture. It's great when you need to do a deep clean of something...especially if the finish has gone gummy/soft....but you don't want to take it all the way down and refinish. Highly recommend. The Walnut is especially pretty.

This product is amazing! I have a solid walnut island that was custom built 15 years ago. It was starting to show its age. There were scratches from use, dogs etc. I applied this and it gave my island new life. I thought I was going to either have to paint or sand and stain. Best purchase in a long time.

The cabinets in my kitchen are original to my home which is from 1975. The cabinets are in excellent shape, it's just the stain that has received water damage and wear and tear over all the years. I didn't see the point in paying a bunch of money to get new cabinets or have them completely redone. I kept looking for a solution and I came across this on a Facebook video. For about $12 I figured it would be worth a shot. I wasn't sure what color to order so I went with walnut. I washed and scrubbed, degreased all of my cabinets really well. I applied it with the 0000 steel wool pads. I followed all the directions and I did do a second application a few days later. I think it works really really well. Obviously my cabinets are never going to look brand new and that's okay because it has character! Lots of memories in this kitchen. But I do think it did a great job at least blending in the wear and tear and it looks more like wood grain instead of damage. I think I could have even went with the darker color to further saturate some of the areas with more damage and I might still order a second can of the darker walnut shade. It does kind of sink in after a couple hours as well so give it a chance to settle. And then when you are all done, finish up with something like the feed and wax (which I was using individually beforehand and it did give similar results but very temporary) I'm really pleased with the results and I feel like it's a great economical way to touch up your house. I'm not big into remodeling unless it's really necessary, I really love saving what I can and I think this product helps with that! I am happy with my results. I also did add new hardware to my cabinets afterward and you can see in the pictures how it all turned out. I'm pretty happy that I spent about $45 ( overall with this product and handles) to make my cabinets look so much better!

I am very placed with the restore finished. It really did cover up a lot of the scratches that were on my furniture that were made by movers and it was not messy and the application was so easy. I am sold on this product.

Bought it to cover milky stains on my wood coffee table. The liquid sat on the surface with out absorbing. At least the oilyness shined up the wood

Cumple con lo prometido . Fácil de aplicar con solo una capa se nota el cambio. La puerta de enmedio es como estaba y las otras como queda después de una sola pasada. Se aplico con esponja llega a escurrir un poco pero se limpia fácil. Probablemente sea mejor usar una franela para evitar escurrimientos. Lo volvería a comprar.

It’s good , make furniture shines with a tint . but has very dark color , darker tone than usual walnut tone

Used to restore various pieces of furniture. Works like a charm , covered white rings , scratches and scuffs , left wood rejuvenated and looking nourished . Had considered either stripping or painting some of the pieces , but not necessary now !
