Second jar I bought because the original one didn't say to refrigerate. I should have put it in the fridge.I will freeze portions next time since it'll take a long time to use up the whole jar.Very yummy!

Personal preference I am sure but made taste me sick after using it awhile. It seems like a very pure product.

I use this as a condiment to all my Indian dishes! Also great with any meat or poultry dish. Spread some on a sandwich and enjoy!

Nothing on the box says anything about tamarind paste, just “cooking paste” as shown in the picture. 10 minutes and a sharp knife was needed to remove the ridiculous amount of tape and bubble wrap. Overkill on the packaging but the tamarind is good.

I would if I could … give this a 1/4 star… worst tasting product . Do not purchase !!!For those who know what tamarind should taste like , you ‘ll be sorely disappointed. The item was bitter, texture grainy and unpleasant .Shame shame
