Solid drum throne that swivels easily and comfortable for long sessions.
Great throne! I have an old Gilbralter throne but the lock stopped working and I would sink down. My drum teacher uses these Roc-N-Soc thrones exclusively and they are very comfortable and solidly made. I bought the extra backing which was easily installed and works great for longer sessions. I especially love the fact that this throne rotates for ease of drumming and does not have to be picked up and repositioned like my old throne. Build quality is excellent!!

Comfy as F*** & Easy to Assemble
Honestly? I love it. My band's previous drum throne got left behind while playing a show out of town, and we had another show coming up rather quickly, so i ordered this one and it delivered just in time for our next show, and it absolutely held up. Our old drum throne is the same brand, just different color. But it was indeed old. I also personally needed to upgrade my own drum throne, so its an all-around win for everyone, honestly. I have always loved the hydraulics, and I spent like 30 mins playing with this new throne. It goes super tall for the tall people and super short for the small peeps. I'm a bit on the shorter/middle people range, 5'5-5'6ish. Adjustment is super easy, assembly was self explanatory/exceptionally easy, and overall worth the price you pay for it. Bonus: It's like sitting on a cloud. Super duper comfortable. I have never had a single issue with it.Hope this helps if you're a new drummer looking for a great throne that will hold up forever, 'cause this one definitely will.

Totally worth the money!
This is just straight out a great throne. To me, I could almost say it's the perfect throne. The design is great, it's more than sturdy and durable. Im a bigger boy, coming in at 6'1 and 300 lb. It takes my size just fine. Iv had a problem with the piston design in the past with another company but iv had this throne for almost 2 months now and it is just awesome. The other company's throne...I had for a day. I use this throne daily and it gets plenty of use. It's still holding strong. I really like the little spring/compression it has as you sit on it. As it compresses, it will move up and down with you as you're playing and moving around. As it cushioning my back, acting as like the shocks in a car. Iv had some back problems and it actually helps with my pain. I can sit and play for longer than I did with any other throne iv ever had. The cushioning to the seat is one of the most comfortable thrones iv ever sat on. The only down side is, I blame my size for it but when i sit on it. It compresses just a bit more then I would want it to. I like to have the heigh of the seat a bit higher. So all I did to correct it was put two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood down. Making like a little drum riser just for the throne...lol. Its a bit pricey for my budget but IT IS WORTH THE MONEY! Then the cherry on top is...THAT COLOR THOUGH! The red felt it has on it is so soft. I love the shade of red it has. It's a great piece of hardware and I would say a must have. \m/

It's Good To Be The Queen
My wife began her drumming career a few months ago. I would rate the original round throne that I bought her as "ok." This saddle style seat is comfortable right from the time you sit upon it! Just think of an oversized bicycle seat with premium padding. On the plus side, it is adjustable with just a movement of a lever. Traditional thrones require loosening and moving of a bolt to adjust the height. In addition to the ease of adjustment is that it also swivels very easily. Another plus that is more of a bonus than function is that the color red nearly matches the cranberry color of the drum kit.The price is steep in comparison to the many lesser round style thrones that are available, but this one is top quality in every way. You definitely get what you pay for in this case.A throne for my "queen of the drums."

What a deal
Where has this thing been in my life. No more squeaky seat during prayer and comfortable throughout the service. I loved it so much I bought one for home practice.

Very comfortable.
I got a bit of a sciatic nerve problem on my hip, this comfortable throne is expensive but I think it's worth it for the comfort.

Fantasic throne for being hydraulic!
By far my favorite throne I've owned. The only complaint I have is the hydraulic buffer that allows the seat to drop a little when you sit down. it doesn't always settle out to the same height, but it is miniscule. Overall the throne is very comfortable and stable. no side to side rocking or noises.

Awesome drum chair!
It's very expensive, but you get what you pay for, and this is the best of the best. This will help you stay comfortable while playing on a kit for an extended period of time and it's good for your back and posture. The investment will pay off over time.
