Cool air, but sounds like an airplane
I got this product today, renewed to save $90. I took about 90 minutes to get everything installed and put together correctly. Once I got it all in the window, sealed, and plugged in, I turned it on.That’s when it started. It was like an airplane taking off. It sounds like there’s something in the fan or something. It’s horrid. I’m no HVAC technician, and I paid $480 after taxes for this unit, so I just started the return.I will see what the return process is like. They so far say it will take 24-48 hours for approval for the return. But I’m not sure I’ll ever buy renewed again simply for the sheer amount of work I put into this just to return it and have to wait days more to figure out how to get this 100 pound unit back to them.I gave the unit 2 stars because, despite the sound, at least it had cold air coming out...

Really cools Great...
The A/C was pretty much disconnected on the inside . Had to reconstruct it .After we did this, installed it and IT COOLS GREAT for 800sq ft.I would recommend this A/C as of how Quiet and how it Cools.

Arrived perfectly
A few missing items from the original packaging, but nothing crucial.Arrived with the wifi version on the box, but i received the non-wifi one.Again, no big deal, as everything else was brand new. No major faults.It cools great and is really quiet.

Arrived damaged.
For a $600 appliance like this you'd think LG would have the common sense to box the thing with more care. I can't count how many reviews I've read where the unit arrived damaged. Lucky for me I had the wherewithal and patience to disassemble and hammer out the dents and bend a few things into place because truthfully, I didn't want to send this back and wait another month for a replacement that would probably have arrived in the same condition. I'm just thankful everything worked once I put it together again and plugged it in. I'd have a lot of reservation before buying anything LG again on Amazon.

Ok let's Kool out
I purchased this model as renewed via 3rd party from Amazon, as i have done a number of products from Amazon. I have an LG 12,000 BTU purchased in 2019 that this has now replaced and i have to say i am beyond impressed. Quiet, Cold and lighter than the previous 12,000 BTU LG unit. Nothing complicated about the install either as a few have mentioned. In fact, i slipped the other out and this right in. No need to remove the outer case unless your a novice at doing these. The wifi activation was a snap as is programming it to your liking. Kudos LG, you hit this one out of the park.😁
