Seavenger Aviator Snorkeling Set with Gear Bag

I purchased this bundle to use in Mexico, and after a few uses i have to say it was well worth the money! This is my first time using a dry snorkel, and it make everything so much easier. The snorkel is very well made and functioned exactly as it should, i never got water in my mouth. The mask worked great too, but i did find myself having to clear out the fogged up lens pretty regularly, but that could just be Because it wasnt tight enough, or too tight, etc (im not a snorkel expert). But the mask was comfortable to wear for hours.My only reluctance when buying this set was the fins, the reviews seemed pretty mixed on them, but i figured for the price, even if they are terrible, its not a big loss. The fins fit perfectly and easily adjusted to my foot size. They felt sturdy and worked great! In heavy ocean currents they easily propelled my 170 pounds through the water without feeling like they were going to break.But i should note, these are REEF fins, so they are short and designed to be used for swimming around reef/coral etc. If you are wanting to do deep sea scuba diving, you should get fins that are made for that.All together i this is a great quality set and i highly recommend!

Really happy with this set. Bought it to take to Mexico and it was just the thing. The mask fit beautifully with no leaks, and the shorter fins were much easier to maneuver around in. Very happy with it.

I just got back from my trip to Hawaii. We went snorkeling 5 days and various locations. I wanted to write this review because before we left for our trip I was searching for a good but cheap snorkel set. I read a lot of reviews and looked up ideas on what to look for when buying a set. First of all let me say that this was a great purchase!I bought a set for myself and my fiance. She wears a size 6.5 to 7 and I got her the S/M. I wear a size 9.5 and got the L/XL. She was able to wear a thin water shoe and put on the fins but she eventually ditched the shoes and went barefoot. The fit was good and the buckle was easily adjustable. I could barely fit my water shoe in (although it was thicker) so I went barefoot. It fit well for me but the buckle was tightened almost all the way. I accidentally put her fins on by mistake and they actually fit well. Size 9 is at the the low end of the L/XL and I believe an S/M would have been a better fit. Either way our fins fit when we tightened the buckles and they never fell off during the trip.The fins themselves look really small! I was worried when they arrived and thought I had made a mistake buying these! I did some research and found that short fins are better for short distances and take less effort but move slower. Longer fins are better for long distance and take more effort but move faster. I have experience with fins more than twice the length when I went SCUBA diving. With those fins we went deeper and further so made sense. When we went snorkeling we did cover some distance but we went slowly because we were scanning the reef below for fish and we didn't care to go fast. So with that said, these little fins were awesome! I was pleasantly surprised and my fiance was very happy I made the purchase. They are small so they are easy to maneuver over the reef. Also the size is easy to pack!The mask and snorkel bring the stars down to 4. It's hard to order a mask online because you need to fit it to your face. I just took a chance. I actually stepped on one of the masks and shattered the glass right after I unboxed it! Stupid. Luckily I had a spare mask. My fiance used my old mask and I used the one in the set. The fit was ok. It could have been a little wider for me. But it will be different for everyone. The snorkel worked well. When you dive under the valve on the top shuts so no water comes in and opens up when you surface. Once in awhile you get some water in it but you can give it a hard blow and purge it out.I highly recommend this set because of the price and how well the fins worked! I read some reviews here saying the small fins were too small. They worked really well for us so I totally disagree. And I thought the same thing before I tried them...My brother and his son got the US Divers set at Costco. It worked for them but his son broke the fin on one side. It's not made of one piece. The fin is connected to the foot on both sides with plastic. I guess it helps somehow? They worked fine but be careful they might break!A side note: You can rent them in Hawaii but having your own is so convenient and cost less. Plus they are yours and you can check the fit before you go!

My grandson is small but mighty for his age. We purchased the XS for him and a S for his 7 year old brother who is slightly small for his age. Both work great for the boys and are easily adjusted. The masks fit their little faces well and the snorkels will come with time. (At least they’re open to using them.) A good investment for future snorkeling!

Bought this set for a Caribbean cruise, as we love to snorkel in ports. I wanted to get a new snorkel and fins and wanted something of good quality without breaking the bank. The silicone on the mask is nice and soft and felt much more comfortable on my face than my previous mask. It didn't even leave marks on my face. The fins were a decent enough length for me to snorkel down about 15-20 feet for best videos of fish at the bottom. I was skeptical because of the low price, but they did not rub blisters on my feet like other fins did, and I did not wear socks with them. Also, I ordered the small fins (I wear size 7 shoe) and my husband was able to try them out with the adjustable strap (he wears size 13 shoe). The snorkel is my favorite snorkel I've ever used. Its flexible design and easy snap mask clip allowed it to fit nicely along my face without tiring my jaw like other snorkels. The best part is the float at the top of the snorkel that keeps water from pouring in when you dive down in the water. It isn't a problem for me to clear an old fashioned snorkel without a vent or float, but this was a nice treat. It was so easy to use that my five year old learned how to snorkel by using it. (He's too little to clear a traditional snorkel.) The only negative thing I have is that I have a very small face so I had to get the mask to just the right spot on my face for best performance, but I didn't have any leaks after snorkeling for hours. Most people shouldn't have a problem with this, however. I like the variety of colors to choose from and the drawstring bag makes it easy to carry on and off the beach. I will be buying another set for my husband for our next cruise.

I bought this for use on a snorkeling trip to the Florida Keys. I wouldn't recommend it for a trip where you are out in ocean with 2' plus swells or needing to dive deep and back up and deep and back up. The snorkel kept coming off of the strap because the clip isn't really designed for heavy use. The clip also kept getting stuck to the snorkel and I had to keep messing with it while treading water.Also, note that the flippers are not very long so if you are an adult, you may want to look for a set that has larger flippers. It takes extra effort to swim in the ocean with the smaller flippers.

He is looking forward to using it this year. Unbeknownst to me his previous snorkling kit had broken, I had bought this on a whim for him. I have not seen it or anything as live on the other side of the world. He seems happy with it, which is the main thing.

Everything fit perfectly. Haven't gone on our trip yet, so will try to update this review after our return from 2 weeks of using the snorkel gear and give an update on how it worked in salty sea. Easy to order from and everything was delivered within promised time frame. Good updates of status of order via email. No complaints.

Items were exactly as described - great quality and proper sizing. Arrived incredibly fast!I'd recommend fin socks for comfort for those with slightly smaller feet.
