The hedgehog puppet arrived quickly and in great condition. We named ours "Tamarind." She is super soft, cuddly, charming, and adorable.Tamarind is a wonderful puppet. You can animate all four legs and the head. She can also roll into a ball, which is a neat feature. I have small hands for an adult, and she fits my hands well. For a large-handed person it might be a bit tight.She does shed just little a bit, but her coat still looks very good after owning her for almost two years. In fact, she remains in excellent condition (no loose threads).I have many Folkmanis puppets and they are all very high quality. Tamarind is a great example of this company's excellent products. I highly recommend this engaging and cuddly little friend.

I purchased this puppet as a child's gift and it is soo adorable. They loved it and I will definitely buy it again as a gift in the future. It is perfect to pair with a hedgehog book as well!Quality: Folkmanis is known for their high quality puppets that are life-like. This hedgehog does not disappoint! It is very soft, the seams seem very strong, it's stuffing is equally distributed and bountiful, and it is easy to maneuver as a puppet and turn inside-out.Durability: For a stuffed animal puppet it seems very durable. I tried tugging on the hair to see if it comes loose easily but none came out at all! I know you have to be careful about eyes on stuffed animals with small children but the eyes on this puppet are very secure and do not come up along the edges so it would be very difficult for little fingers to pry them off.Likeness to picture: The picture that comes up actually shows a darker color hair on the face and chest of the puppet, but when you add it to your cart the hair comes up lighter ( like a light tan). The actual hair on the puppet is light tan, so don't worry about the darker hair in the picture that makes the puppet's features harder to distinguish.Overall this is a great buy for a child- boy or girl! And the price is very reasonable for a quality item!Side note: I gave 4 stars for educational because I'm not sure how much this puppet can teach a child, but it does roll in a ball like real hedgehogs do so that counts for something!

We gave this hedgehog puppet as one of the gifts for one of our teenaged college student nieces. It was adored from the moment she opened the box. This puppet is very lifelike and soooooo soft which is not lifelike which is a good thing. :) The little animal can be turned inside out to become a ball of fur only, and then with your hand inside another pocket, you can move the head, the hands and the feet, which is really fantastic and fun. I even thought it was a fun toy/puppet and I am a grandmother and not young so to me, this would delight all ages since I liked it a lot too!. You are never too old to have fun and not too young to enjoy this little puppet pet. I would recommend it for anyone who loves soft sturdy puppets or stuffed animals with quite lifelike qualities. It will be a welcome addition and a definite conversation piece to our nieces' college dorm room, we are sure of it.Cynthia

Folkmanis has never disappointed with their line of animal puppets. They are well-made, fun to play with, and are realistic enough to be believable. This hedgehog is especially delightful because he's so dang soft and has such a sweet face. He was peering out of Christmas stocking of one-year old granddaughter on Christmas morning, and she was delighted with it. The only drawback is that it is too small for her father's hand. OK, maybe that's not a drawback -- maybe the rest of us will get a shot at playing with it. Just be warned that if you have big mitts, it no fits. Otherwise, a favorite.

Searched this on Amozon for my granddaughter who had to have this after seeing her Spanish teacher use one as a class prop. It is really cute but there is not a lot of room for your hand to move the puppet part. Definitely for a small hand!

My son loves this little guy! Super soft. Can control both sets of legs. Also folds into himself.

TOOOOO CUTE! He is just the cutest little thing. He is not very big, suitable for a child’s hand. His fur is very soft and he will be great for a young child to cuddle. I bought with a book for my niece for Christmas. I am confident she will love him! Definitely Folkmanis quality!
