KEEN Men's Santa Cruz

Didn't have hopes for these, but they seemed decent and I had thought Keen was a quality manufacturer. The shoes that I received, however, were not what I expected. First, the magnetic duraltag was still on it-- which is a minor oversight if the shoe was satisfactory-- but in this case was foreshadowing future unpleasantness. To say that they were too small is not really saying it. They were a bit tight and I do have a slighter wider foot, but the right shoe fit almost ok, while the left one was uncomfortably tight. Some people have one foot slightly bigger than the other, which is pretty normal. Not me, my feet are the same size. These shoes were not cool looking either. They kind of look better in the photo. I ended up going with a lower priced pair of hi-tec shoes that are remarkably better quality.

I have gotten quite a few compliments on these. They fit nicely, look good and need little break in. My only complaint is they show scuffs and water drops more than I'd like. Water drops are very dark on the leather, which makes these less useful as rain sneakers in lieu of my canvas Vans. The water drops eventually dry and disappear; the scuffs do not. Also, they are a little high and rub the back of my ankle, not enough to cause a blister but slightly uncomfortable. I think this will improve over time so I am not docking any points for it.

I NORMALLY wear 9.5 Wide. But since it is a Keen and I have two other pairs of Keen, most comfortable shoes and slip-on I'd eve had because they are wider in the front than other brands, I did not hesitate to purchase this pair, just the right color and design.But I have to say I am kind of disappointed only because the fit. It fits my feet so well and leaves no room for thicker socks or feet swellif I wear it all day. And I can tell it will be the last two toes on my right foot that will be hurting.I love the color and design. Just wish I had bought a pair of size 10.

Best shoes I've ever owned.Not sure what the real difference is between the old Santa Cruz and this "fashion sneaker", but these ones are awful.1. The material feels like plastic, it took a solid 2 weeks of blisters to break them in.2. Once they finally stopped hurting (still not very comfortable), the back sole of the shoe is coming apart.I have a lot of love for keen shoes but these ones are definitely a let down.

Easily 1 to 1.5 sizes smaller than anything else I've worn. I was only just barely able to squeeze my foot in there. No flexibility. No breatheability. None of the comfort or support Keen is known for.

I love the looks of these but I wish I would got a half size larger. At first they fit fine but the more I wore them I started to notice that my foot felt crammed inside. The quality of the shoe overall is great. The tread is holding up very well. Great support around the ankle but some wearers may not like the sturdiness.

I took into consideraton the comments from your buyers and found the shoe what expected it to be. I'm happy about the fit, though a bit snug. I just use thinner socks for now until it becomes more pliable. The reviewers rock!

I usually wear a 10 medium width depending on how and where a shoe is made. The 10 ran small and the 10.5 fit perfectly. Unique look and color to wear with jeans. Blessings -Dion
