SUPER HEAVY DUTY HIGH FLOW AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM, 2 STAGE PARTICULATE FILTER PLUS OIL REMOVING COALESCING FILTER COMBINATION (3/4" NPT, AUTO DRAIN)

Often it seems the people that have trouble with items such as this filtration system are not reading the instructions prior to installation or they do not have the experience in the skills that are ancillary to the product or system.Purchased two of these. Both installed without fail or problem and both work just fine.If you are using pipe or tubing use the correct materials and assemble with the proper methods. I used copper pipe and the fittings that are threaded have Teflon tape or Teflon pipe sealant. Nothing leaks.One of the units arrived with a cracked regulator cap. One message to the seller and they sent me a new cap. They also corrected the seller contact information on the item. The support was polite, prompt and complete.I had my reasons for installing a large unit and for installing two in series. It was a complicated project and took about 30 hours to assemble. I am not a plumber or pipe fitter. I did practice soldering and did study how to build this with copper. Read the instruction. Understand the instructions. Learn how to use copper, pipe or tubing first.

I installed the unit only to find that it leaked under pressure. An inspection revealed the issue to be the screws that hold the bracket together, one of which is cross threaded (Top one in the picture) are cross threaded and cannot be tightened, as such the bracket does not seal the unit. If you look at the pictures of the screws you can also see they damaged the screw heads during assembly. I attempted to contact the seller to get a new bracket and 4 new screws but there is no way to do that. Worse still I am attempting to return the defective unit and I have to pay for the return shipping. So I would recommend that you find something else.Update 12/30/18: I figured out how to contact the seller via Amazon and they were very responsive and are sending me new parts to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I have now found that the regulator leaks constantly until the high-pressure side PSI is equal to the low-pressure side PSI, so I am guessing that I will need to pull the regulator apart to locate the issue.Update 1/21/19: So I received a new regulator and installed it with the new bracket. Everything is working as expected. Customer service is very good with these guys and the regulator is doing what it is supposed to. 4 stars, deducting one star due to initial issue that should have been caught in quality control.

Bought one of these over a year ago…. Wrong instructions arrived with unit. I have contacted manufacturer before and they did not respond. I requested instructions for Subject item via amazon, Amazon listed U.S. point of contact, and Taiwan factory. No,one responded. A year later still no instructions. Instructions not found on internet.. Doubt instructions will fix problem.Update on below: This unit has same problem as first unit. I just tested 2nd unit in more detail.Ordered another unit August 2021 exactly same:Wow- not amazon prime and delivered in one day. Fed-Ex delivered but did not pay for fed-ex shipping. A plus.Unit well packed in foam and bubble wrap. Box intact, no damage to box or contents. Noticed assembly screws are now star or hex head instead of Phillips head. An improvement.Carefully placed on workbench- installed adaptors for air hose, carefully removed/replaced old with with this one. No leaks.Inspected tank pressure gauge on pressure tank to make sure pump cut off before 175psi. Tank factory pressure guage reads 175psi after pump cuts off. So not exceeding max recommended pressure. 50 foot hose will lose some psi anyway.Hooked up unit to air tank air line. Set pressure on unit pressure regulator gauge at 35psi with black unit pressure regulator valve. Started letting air our of hose to bleed down air and watched unit pressure regulator gauge and unit secondary gauge which climbed from 35 psi to 85 psi before compressor came on at 85psi. When compressor turned off at 175 psi at the tank, tank air hose attached to unit was again used to bleed down pressure. Unit gauge Pressure upon bleed down start dropped back down to 35 psi continuous, and then proceeded to repeat above as pressure was bled down again. THIS UNIT’S PRESSURE GUAGE = UNSUITABLE for painting with a 50psi pressure variation. NO HVLP gun will tolerate this pressure variation. And instructions once again did not match labeling on 3 unit parts.First unit purchased over a year ago- Problem. Installed and tested July 2021. The pressure regulator knob is not controlling pressure properly. Pressure is being regulated very poorly referring to the unit’s pressure gauge at 30-40 psi and then goes to 0 PSI. As 80 gallon air tank pressure goes down, regulator allows hose delivery pressure to rise.When compressor comes on to pump up air tank, hose delivery pressure goes to zero, and 80 gallon air tank air supply must be disconnected, then reconnected to subject unit before continuing. After 80 gallon air tank reconnection, regulator knob needs to be readjusted again. Then cycle repeats itself.If the company would just contact me and work with me, it is probably fixable, but no one will contact me.My home house phone land line is listed so they can find me. Desiccant beads exhausted in 5 days. Need more info on unit. Little to none in shipment? Also, moisture still a problem.Trying to figure out how to reach technical support but no clue included in shipping.

Mounting Brackets

Item arrived as it should have and so far, has been great! the only issue i have and i have red in other reviews is that the seller should package it a little better. There was barely any protective wrap holding it in place. Other than that, it seems like a great project.
