Okay, so the first time you open the bag they definitely smell strong, like the oil is THIS close to being rancid... However, that didn't stop me from finishing the bag. Then a few days later (I am KETO) I really wanted something that was crunchy that I could top with guacamole. These chips worked GREAT and then I started to fall in love with the taste too! Unlike pork rinds, they are flatter and work great for dips and just remind me a lot of a bag of chips. Super crunchy and not too much salt.Cons - the people around you may not be impressed with the scent - they are kinda stinky! They are also ridiculously expensive, and even for a fat-centric diet have a lot of calories per bag. The bag is actually 2 servings.Pros - If you give them a second try, you might actually really really like them. They have a great crunch and I actually crave them now! Perfect for dipping with cheese sauce, salsa, or guacamoled! A great snack for KETO peeps, and great for traveling.

I ordered the other kind you see on Facebook and they are very small bags with little pieces and the flavor isn’t the greatest. Then the chicken skin brand order came in and they are all big pieces in a much bigger bag and the flavor is outstanding. They are a little expensive but they all are. These will be purchased on a regular basis.

The smell is... a little weird. The taste is AMAZING. I want to shove them all in my mouth. The bags are FULL. Which I cannot express how much that is appreciated. Now the reason my review is so low is because while the bags are full of chicken skin, they are also full of feathers. No, not just filaments, though there were many pieces that are more filament than skin. But I could only eat 3-4 pieces out of each bag because there was so many little white feathers.Now if this is the way all chicken skin is then fine (thought I’m doubtful bags should have 10+ feathers) I will just never be able to stomach this wonderful snack from this or any other brand. But I cannot purchase these again based on this first experience and I so badly wanted too. If extra chicken parts don’t bother you, they're delicious.I hope as this new food trend grows this won’t be a thing anymore and I can buy these or others again. Very good and filling snack.P.S. I know it’s cheap but companies, please stop using soybean oil. It’s just god awful.

I've been ordering these for a while now and always good to go, fresh great taste. Great for Keto.I don't know what happen with this last batch, waaayyyyy to SALTY. I tried the first bag salty. Figured luck of the draw. Opened up the second bag and SALTY. What's up with the QC Chick N/ Skin?

I was a little disappointed with the flavor. Texture was perfect though! It is probably my taste buds since I make my own chicken skins when I'm able and was looking for a similar taste. It worked really well though when I used it for nachos (texture and crunch).

I thought these were really good. They had just the right amount of crunch but not so crunchy that crumbs go flying everywhere like with pork rinds. I liked the amount of oil these were fried with (I’m on a keto diet so more fat is good) and it seems like that’s what made these slightly less dry than pork rinds, and very enjoyable. It’s really hard to find ones fried in something I”m not allergic to - many are in soy or coconut oil but these are not, so i was pleasantly surprised. They are a bit expensive but it’s hard to find keto snacks without things I’m allergic to LOL They do smell a bit weird in the back but not unexpected - sometimes certain animal food products & supplements do smell a bit weird (like Grassfed beef kidney supplements) but that’s just how they smell. It’s normal. The smell of these is pretty mild, and the taste was excellent so I’ll definitely buy these again.

I like the idea of this snack and the taste is actually pretty good… But, I’m not sure about the quality control. In my very first bag, on the 2nd chip, I found cooked feathers still stuck to the skin. And there were quite a few feathers. I will still eat the rest of the bags I bought unless I find more feathers in the other bags. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am a new devotee to Chick N' Skin. I was looking for something to satisfy my need for a crunchy snack. I had tried another brand but they were too salty and way too high priced so i searched for another brand and found Chick N' Skin and ordered right away. They are still a little pricey for the amount you get but they are less expensive and not near as salty as the other brand. I love these and I am sure I will be ordering again soon. They taste great, satisfy that crunch craving and provide a lot of protein, triple win for my eating plan!!! So glad I found these!!
