Set of 2pcs Electric Guitar Pickup Humbucker with Brass cover 6 String Chrome Small Pickup

I built a semi-hollow body Rick 360 style guitar out of pine & plywood. I didn't want to cut pickup holes in the top - these pickups are surface mount so just needed small holes to be drilled for the wires and mounting screws. The install was very easy and they look perfect! They also sound really good, very clean and smooth - if you are looking for something "hot" these are probably not for you - they are not at all "weak" but they are exactly what I was looking for to go on this style of guitar. I've installed many 'budget' humbuckers on many types of guitars - these are definitely among my favorites!

Has potential, would order another set in the future to double check. The problem was, they were too quiet and too tall, the measurements are wrong. I finagled them to sound test them and when I was able to get output out of them, they had a unique and good sound, just too low of output.

I bought an old 60’s guitar that needed a surface mount pickup because there was no cavity to put a normal pickup. These did the job. They are ok, microphonic but that’s what usually came with these older guitars anyways. They are pretty low output so don’t expect to be pushing your amp into overdrive with these.

I really like these EXCEPT that response falls off noticeably at the ends of the "toaster" slots. Other than that they are VERY cost-effective repros of iconic pickups.

I've been a guitarist and guitar tech for over 15 years, and im actually offended by how bad these are. I didn't have high expectations but I didn't prepare for a total garbage. Don't be a fool and waste your money, take the time to find ANYTHING else to put in your guitar.
