Great for disc media. Sharpies for CD/DVD are hard to find now.
I bought these, because my Sharpie designed for disc media was dying, and I could not find new ones at a reasonable cost. I did some research, and apparently this PARTICULAR Lumocolor model, in black, claims to be safe on disk media. And they sell for much more reasonable price.

Excellent, writing lasts longer than using the fine pens
Excellent I have used the "fine" pens of the same make and found them excellent lasting a long time (several hundred labels). But while the "fine" pens are great for getting more writing onto a label, the writing does not always last clearly over winter. This medium pen is thicker, still good enough to get a reasonable amount on a label with care and is more visible. I highly recommend all the Staedtler pens as they are excellent quality.
