I bought the 3.5 female to 4.4 male to plug into my DAC for balanced listening.First I want to say I’m not an audiophile. However I am serious about the best sound I can get for my money. Therefore I have better than average DAC/AMP/headphones/IEMs. (Over $1,200 to give an idea) So I’m not an expert but to me this did not degrade the sound at all. The cable adapter seems to be made of quality materials. I would think if handled properly this will last for years but I can say for source as I’ve had it less than a week.

I really wanted this to work, and I could tell it's well made, the reviews looked great before I ordered it.Unfortunately for some reason, it did not work for Bose headphones which is the only use I had for it.For all I know Bose made their headphone input in a custom size for profiteering purposes (to force replacement adapter to purchased from them). So I don't want to blame the lack of success on this product having no certainty of why it didn't work

I'm using this with iKKo OH10 IEM's and an iFi Zen V2 hooked up to my MacBook Pro. The Apollo does exactly what I expected. Stupid me kept ordering the wrong sizes but I had no trouble with the returns. The adapter reeks of quality and the sound I get is ideal. You can't go wrong with this adapter.

This was given a great description solid silver wire gold plated connections. It has great sound and clarity

Good fit and finish

I have a Sony WM1ZA Walkman and a fantastic pair of in ear headphones that sound beautiful on the balanced output jack.In order to use the jack a 3.5mm to 4.4mm adapter must be used. Which is where this product comes in. The materials are good, however the manufacture is not. The barrel the headphones plug into is not properly made, the jack becomes mis-aligned in the barrel until you press firmly on it. After that playback is normal, for a few minutes until the jack becomes misaligned once more, and that happens frequently.When this happens audio playback on the right headphone stops. Then output on two of the 6 drivers on the left headphone becomes distorted. I need to replace this. This behaviour has been occurring since it arrived.

Il prodotto è caro perché è qualità ma nel caso del complesso audio B&O Quad Dac funziona solo un canale o solo se abbinato ad un adattatore di impedenza che nel mio caso invece di stimolare alta impedenza, mi abbassa il volume.Dunque ho acquistato un semplice AUX e quando lo collego al LG fa accendere tutto il complesso di Dac e Amps .Il pacchetto è porta oggetto in simil pelle è molto comodo per tenerlo fuori dalla POLVERE !Non so se sono i 4 poli (nel Samsung galaxy S10 5G funziona) Comsiglio per audiofili

Used to connect hifi headphone out to 4.4mm balanced male plug to save changing headphone leads. Through system connection works very well and no noticeable signal loss. My only concern is it does not feel too robust when left hanging with weight of headphone lead to floor. Put some shrink sleeve on to make it more solid and will see…….

Whilst this item is a 4.4MM Balanced Male to 3.5MM Balanced Female adapter, you MUST understand that it’s use with an DAC/Amp (for use in the 4.4mm balanced port) will most likely cause serious damage to your DAC/Amp. It’s use for this purpose is dangerous, and I feel the seller ought to share this information in the item description as opposed to potentially misleading consumers. So please be careful!
