Works great - better than lugging around/gate-checking a separate stroller
We used the Travelmate recently when we had to change planes (gates at opposite ends of the Atlanta airport) - our first time traveling with our two-year-old - and we absolutely loved using it. In fact, if we hadn't had this, I'm pretty sure we would have missed the second leg of our flight.PROS:* Made traveling within the airport(s) relatively easy and fast - no small feat with a toddler in tow* Extremely convenient and easy to use (TIP: figure out how it works *before* you travel, and as soon as you board, ask a flight attendant for a seat belt extender - you'll need it to buckle in the car seat)* Didn't have to detach the Travelmate at security (TIP: ask if they'll check your car seat by hand - in our case, they were always happy to do so and were really fast)* Our daughter loved the novelty of it - she was comfortable and actually chose to ride in it most of the time* Kept her contained/happy, making it easier for us to zoom through the airport quickly and make our connecting flight* Assuming you detach the Travelmate prior to installing the car seat in the plane, it fits easily in the overhead compartment or even under the seats, so you don't have to gate-check it (TIP: we found there wasn't enough room depth-wise to keep it attached during flight)CONS:* Takes a few tries to figure out how to attach the car seat, so it helps if you practice in advance (it somehow looked backwards to us until we got it right)* Slightly too wide to roll down most aircraft aisles (especially past first-class), so you'll have to carry it at some point* You need to take elevators, which are never as convenient as the escalators (though you’d have to do this with a regular stroller, too)* Car seat straps should be tucked away completely or it’s like having a shoelace untied…our straps kept sliding out and it made me slightly anxious (NOTE: this didn’t bother my hubby in the slightest)Overall - I think it's a fantastic product and can't imagine traveling with a toddler without it. Highly recommend.

A bit expensive but worth every penny!
If you travel a lot with a young child, and especially if you travel alone, you probably were dreading the day when your child outgrew her infant carrier that snapped into a stroller and wondered how on earth you would carry a full size car seat through the airport and onto the plane. I was, and that day finally arrived. Well this item is the perfect solution! It takes just minutes to assemble and easily attaches to the car seat. Moreover, you can easily attach it to and remove it from the car seat in seconds, even with the child sitting in it. I drove to the airport, removed the car seat with my child in it, attached it to the device, and started rolling her through the airport to security. TSA makes you take the child out of the car seat but they allow you to leave the car seat attached to the device and hand inspect it. Then I just put her back in and stroll to the gate. I also rolled her right on to the plane and down the aisle although it did get stuck in a few spots but that is because those aisles are so narrow. You need to detach the device to install the car seat and it does not fold up enough to put under the seat in front of you so you will need to store it in the overhead bin.It really works fine as a basic stroller on the airport so if you have access to a stroller at your destination no need to lug one around just for use at the airport. But it would not be practical as a stroller out and about on the street since it rides low to the ground and has no canopy. When I was considering buying it the price tag gave me pause and some suggested you could just use a regular luggage roller but this is so much better for two reasons. First, it is designed specifically for car seats, and the device and my car seat fit like hand and glove. And second, it is designed to safely carry the weight of the car seat AND your child.I have wasted a lot of money on baby gear over the last year and a half but this is one purchase I do not regret.

Received my product in pristine condition. Great service overall.
Parents will wonder how they ever managed without the gogo Kidz Travelmate, just as everyone in the world can't imagine travel without roller suitcases. The patented design significantly lightens the load of parents on the go with babies, toddlers and all their gear. Go-Go Babyz makes traveling with toddlers a breeze with the gogo Kidz Travelmate. The gogo Kidz Travelmate is a convenient and safe attachment for a variety of convertible/toddler car seats. Instead of carrying your car seat and child through an airport, they can now be wheeled through a crowd! The gogo Kidz is easily mounted or removed in a matter of seconds with a ratcheting, quick-release strap and it allows one hand to be free. It features 5” quick-release razor wheels and telescopic handle, and weighs 5 lbs. The quick release wheels provide extra clearance for storage and smaller x-ray machines. Airports:Because the FAA strongly recommends children under 40 lbs. be seated in a child car seat on an airplane, parents have had to haul their car seats through the airport, straining their backs, arms and patience. The gogo Kidz Travelmate significantly lightens the load of parents on the go with toddlers and all their gear. A car seat using the gogo Kidz Travelmate eliminates the need to hand carry, rent or borrow a car seat at your final destination .WARNING! Do not leave the gogo Kidz Travelmate attached to the car seat while driving in an automobile. The gogo Kidz has not been tested in combination with any car seats in any crash testing program and injury to your child could occur. Car seat not included.
