DII Chevron Throw Collection Handloomed Cotton, 50x60, Tango Red

I love this blanket! It is well made, held up fine in the washer, is a good size and looks cozy on my couch. It did smell a little weird but to me it smelled new, not like a musty basement as others have said. And I saw a lot of reviews that said it’s not soft. Yea it’s not soft like one of those microplush blankets but it’s not supposed to be! It’s a knit blanket! I saw a review that said it feels like one of those Mexican blankets and I agree. I really like the texture of it. Another review said it’s the same size as a large towel. It’s bigger than that. It’s just the right size for a decorative throw. It covers me completely. It did get little fuzzies all over my black shirt but I just won’t snuggle with it when I have my work clothes on. I love Amazon and buy most of my things from here but sometimes I think not reading the negative reviews, or choosing which ones to ignore will benefit me in the future. It took me so long to actually purchase this blanket because of the few negative reviews. But if I had seen it in a store I would have bought it and loved it and not have had all these negative expectations and not even thought twice about the fuzzies or the smell.

This is a nice throw blanket. It's a little lighter weight than some blankets I've had in the past, but the weave and colors are good. I didn't notice any unusual 'smell' that some reviewers reported. I am happy with my purchase.

Must be washed before use and WOW there was a lot of lint! Granted, I had 4 in one load, but my lint trap was jam packed (pictured). After emptying, I ran the dryer more and repeated a few times. I then vacuumed the dryer. They’re getting better and I think the shedding will continue to subside. I have a light colored sofa, but if you have a dark or lint-prone sofa or wear a lot of black, these may not work for you.Easter bunny brought one for each of us in a favorite color and the kids LOVE them. I love that they each have unique colors, but match in the background off-white and in the pattern. It gives a cohesive look and is a big improvement over the mismatched blankets we used to have everywhere. They’re cozy, but lightweight. Big enough for adults, but not too large for kids. We’ll be able to use them year round.The yellow one does have noticeable flecks of other yarn colors woven in (pictured). Personally, I don’t mind, but others may not care for it.Excellent value for a natural fiber throw!Updated to add: on almost 6ft tall person the throw goes from about armpits to ankles. And the tassels look so nice that I don’t ever fold these; I grab from the middle so they drape and throw them on the couch or chair.

This cotton throw is soft and cozy. I really like it’s boho style. It has a nice thickness for warmth without too much bulk. I’m 5’7” so I sometimes turn it on the diagonal to cover my feet and my shoulder as I use it.The only down side to this throw was the musty smell it had when it arrived. It is labeled “wash before use”, and I found that it was great after washing in cold water and drying on low. It is softer after washing and smells fresh.

This is a very soft, pretty throw. It however is a loose weave making it susceptible to pulls and getting holes in it. The minute I went to toss it out on our sofa it caught on my ring. Big pull. Dog laid on it. Holes from where nails touched it. I am not bothering to return it but I probably should have. I will need to look for it's replacement in person just to make sure it is still soft but is up to being used.

I love this blanket (and so does the cat)! It's soft, cozy, and stylish.When I received it there was definitely a distinctive odor, however it dissipated after a little bit of time. I probably could have washed it, but it's in our (very casual) den, and we weren't using it and tossing it around that much, so that probably had something to do with why the manufacturing odor stuck around as long as it did. Honestly, for the price of this blanket? I don't even care, and am not even a little bit upset about it. The scent is long gone, and the blanket now smells like "us." Keep in mind that you're buying this off of Amazon, and not direct from a higher end retailer lol...okay, so it might not smell perfect ... no big deal - you paid pennies on the dollar!That being said, at the end of the day, I would 100% order another throw blanket from this manufacturer and seller.

I love the earthy look of this throw on my recliner- it feels so soft on my back & neck! Great quality!

Large and comfy. Washes well. Very pleased with this purchase.
