THESE ARE THE BEST BIBLE HIGHLIGHTERS I'VE EVER USED!#1. These do not bleed thru my thin-paged Bible. Sometimes you might see a faint color shadow on the back of the page, but shoot, I can also see a shadow of the actual printed text too. I HAVE noticed when they are new (thus more wet with ink)that I can't let the pen-tip sit still on one spot very long or it will bleed thru a little.#2. It leaves a wonderfully vibrant, sharp-edged highlight. All of the colors are transluscent so you can easily read the marked portions, but the blue is the least so.#3. They last an acceptable length of time. Mine dry out after 4 to 5 months of daily, light use.BUT, there is one caveat: The included black underliner will bleed thru unless you write very quickly and don't bear down, so I use an ultra-thin Pigma Micron Pen instead.I still feel that this is a reasonable price to pay for 4 excellent highlighters even if the black pen doesn't work for my thin pages. I am on my 4th or 5th set and will continue to order more as needed.Btw, the pen I mentioned using is incredible for writing tiny words in your margins. It makes the thinnest line imaginable so you can write very small and still have legibility. AND it will NOT bleed thru. These are great highlighters that do not bleed through the thin pages of my Bible. The width of the markers are perfect for small to large print Bibles and they leave the writing clearly visible for reading. Although, I can see the color on the other side of the page, it is not caused from ink bleeding through and is simply caused by the paper in my Bible being thin.The writing pen that comes with the set is great for marking and writing in my Bible since it does not bleed through and requires little to no pressure to write with. This means I do not have to press so hard that it creases the paper on the other side. It is also great for writhing on the paper since it leaves a clear and fine line that is both easy to write with and easy to read.The ruler that comes with the kit provides a great straight edge that I use to keep my lines straight when I use the highlighters and pen for marking the scriptures. The only think I would suggest is to use a paper towel to wipe off the edge of the ruler before changing colors or from ink to highlighting. If you don't do this, you will get a contamination of coloring on your highlighters which may affect their color.All-in-all, this is a great product that I enjoy using and will continue to use for a long time.NOTE: If you are like me...you will run out of the yellow highlighter first. Replacement highlighters in any color can be easily purchased at many office supply stores, on Amazon or at Bible Book stores.

My husband ordered this set for me as a gift along with an Illustrated Bible years ago and when the ink finally started to dry out, I loved it so much that I found it on Amazon and purchased it.The four highlighters are double-sided and there’s also a regular, black ink pen included in the set. The ruler is perfect for helping to underline precisely straight and the “wavy” side allows you to underline with emphasis or to create decorative borders around your own illustrations in your Bible or journal. The ruler also includes the Books of the Bible in chronological order.I use the regular pen to take notes in the margin of my Bible, to underline or circle certain words or phrases and to write the date next to whatever chapter I’m studying and from where I’m studying it (at church, or my Bible study app, or a devotional, etc.).The highlighters come with suggested topical use, i.e. blue for the Holy Spirit, pink for salvation, yellow for blessings, and green for growth/new life. You can use the fine point end for underlining and/or circling as well or for making a note based on the color-coded topics.Best of all, the highlighters and pen do NOT bleed through the pages and they’re even light enough to keep from making much of a shadow on the next page as some other markers do.Definitely my go-to set of Bible highlighters!

We really like these highlighters for our Bibles, but using the thicker side definitely bleeds through the pages.If you use the thinner end, highlighting is just as effective and does not really bleed through. Would recommend but as the title says - use the thinner side of the marker.

These Zebrite pens are great. I have been purchasing this particular Bible Marking Kit for a couple of years now. The double-ended markers are very convenient, and the system they offer up is great. I always like getting the rulers because I seem to have a hard time keeping track of them!I have read a lot of reviews about these markers bleeding through and wanted to provide a couple of pictures and my opinion. As you can see in the pictures attached, the markers show through the backside of the page, but do not actually "bleed through" to the next pages. I have a few different bibles and the most recent bible I purchased has thin pages and you can see the results in the pictures.I do agree with some of the reviews that state if you were to highlight over the same verse a couple of times then the markers would bleed through, but with the fluorescent pigment ink these markers have, I have not found any reason to have to highlight over the same verse more than once.As I stated earlier, I have been buying these markers for a couple of years now and will continue to do so! I have been extremely happy with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a Bible Marking Kit that is not a dry marking kit.
