Had a wire in the back poking out it was so painful. I couldn't eat anything it was poking my jaw and lip. I ordered this with one day delivery because my dentist was closed for the weekend. In as little as 2 seconds the wire was out (RELIEF). I had to clap down and turn it a little to break the wire but it works.

A complete waste of money - the 'cutter' has no blade... there is no way for it to cut wire as it claims. I was skeptical when I opened the package and noticed no sharp part at all... then I tried it on my daughter's poking archwire... nothing, all it does is grab. I should've read the reviews and not wasted my time! My daughter tried the wax that came in the kit and in her words "it sucks" - it wouldn't stay on the end of the wire to at least work as a temporary cushion.

It took me a minute to figure out how to use it but when I was able to get the wire poking my teen, it was AWESOME! Perfect tool when you can't get to your orthodontist when you need to.

The wire cutter don’t cut

I bought this because one of my wires had broken off for the second time, leaving a piece sticking out and cutting my cheek. Rather than drive 30 minutes to the orthodontist, I thought this would be a good solution in the meantime to trim off the part poking my cheeks. Did not work at all and is not able to cut through the wire.

This really helped me, I purchased this item over a year ago and had the need to use it again, the only problem I had is that It wouldn't cut at the 1st try.

Complete life saver! I had a wire sticking me in the back and I was a little hesitant at first but once I applied pressure, it cut right off.
