GoldieBlox Craft-Struction Box

I just spent a half hour trying to make a flower. Pieces hard to put together. Kept coming apart. Pictures of pieces to use were hard to decide which ones to use. Very frustrating. Saw it on GMA and thought it would be a great activity for my Grand children. Now I will say my Granddaughter is just making something up and is doing better than I did. She still has trouble fitting parts together. For me very frustrating. For her maybe 2 stars.

My daughter is 8 years old, and she loves this set. I bought some K'Nex earlier in the year with the hope of encouraging her in her interest in building and designing things, but she hasn't used them much. It was a totally different story with the GoldieBlox Craft-struction kit. From the moment she opened it, she couldn't wait to build the projects in the videos, and it's inspired her to continue exploring with many of her own creations. I love the concept behind the GoldieBlox toys, but was a little concerned after reading reviews of some of the earlier GoldieBlox products. I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad I did.

My wife bought this for my 6 yrs old daughter. I'm usually not a fan of Goldie Blox not because it's girly but because of it's quality of the parts. It's a little flimsy but this set is better. It's not super durable but better than the early version of Goldie Blox. I especially like the different movable structures that you can build with it.

My kids love these so much I plan on stocking up on these like legos. I have a couple other sets as well and when a few pieces went missing I emailed the company and they sent the pieces I needed for free along with a couple extras just in case. I definitely recommend this toy along with the storybook sets.

this has a ton of parts, but many many of them are little tiny pieces. They are very hard to put together, and very confusing for kids. Both of my daughters had no interest in this at the beginning. It took about three weeks before they started showing any interest. But mostly it was a huge waste of money.

We love Goldiblox at our house, so this Craft-Struction Box seemed like a good addition to our sets. My nearly four-year-old loves playing with the sets and is constantly making new creations. I am excited to see what new creations both kids can come up with with this new set of pieces and parts. I am also super excited for the videos that my kids can watch online for new ideas to stretch their imaginations. This is such a great STEM toy/activity!

My daughter has enjoyed other GoldieBlox products so I tried this one. When it arrived she immediately got busy creating her own designs with the many pieces. She has gone back to this many times to try new designs of her own creatin as well as those suggested in the poster and onlineThe pieces seem sturdy (she has reused multiple times with no issues). There is more than enough variety of pieces. And there are good suggestions of what to build included.

This is our go-to gift for girls 5-8. My daughter and nieces all loved theirs. It comes with ideas on what to build or you can make up your own. There is even a BOM for little future Engineers to evaluate simple components of complex creations.
