One step to greatness... Reinforce the tabs
Nice shoes. Great style and a great sole. Leather is nice as it should be, being made in Italy. I say these compare to 300.00 Italian dress shoes. I have a hard time finding high quality dress shoes that can stand up to the rain. I know I can't get leather soles without ruining then pretty quickly in a Portland winter. These have a nice thick Vibram style that should hold up for years, mix that with high quality leather and Italian craftsmanship... Well that's a recipe for gold.Took to my local cobbler and had the tabs reinforced for $10.00. He advised these can be resoled as well which is another win. Still 5 stars even with the pull tabs needing work.Took their first heavy rain like champs and didn't leak at all, even with stepping into some pretty deep puddles. Typical Clarks quality here.These run a bit longer than my other Clarks. Almost a full size larger. My other Clark's are 10s. I ordered these in 9.5. Could have dropped to 9 but I like to be able to wear thicket socks in the winter where these will see most of their use. I wear a 10.5 in most athletic shoes (Adidas and Nike).

These shoes are of a far higher quality than the price would suggest.
I like the style and look of these boots very much. The contrasting soles are no-nonsense and high-quality. I ordered a larger size than is my usual practice and I got a product that's a little bigger than they should be. I didn't think they were so big as to justify an exchange, so I've stuck with them and I wear them a lot. The Clarks brand name still stands for something good.

Great boots..
Great pair of boots. I didn't find any issues with the pull loops. Well worth the the cost.

Great looking boot!!
Beautiful boots!! I had to break them in and the lacing makes them tough to tie.. once on they're great!

Almost five stars
Boots are very nice and comfortable out of the box, a bit stiff as is to be expected. I'd give five stars, but I warn you the pulls on the back are ornamental. I broke one right off the bat.

Defective pull tab
Nice boots fit true to my past Clarks size but the back pull tab broke 2nd time putting on. Sending back for replacement.

Loop on back is for looks will tare if pulled on too hard
