adidas Originals Men's I-5923 Shoe

I have 4 shoes with boost. Ultraboost 4.0 triple black, Ultraboost All Terrain, Nite Jogger and now this. My 4.0 are my daily shoes since the boost are black & it’s easy to put on and off. I think it’s a toss up between that and my All Terrain when it comes to boost comfort. The heel cup on the 4.0 kinda pokes my heels while the ATR does not. I painted the ATR white boost black but it chips and I reapply paint now and then. And I think my Nite Jogger feels a little bit more comfortable than the I5923.I scored this for only $23 and change so I had to buy it ASAP! Both my Ultraboosts are size 8 but I feel like an 8.5 would be better for the triple black, the knit is tight but I’m use to it and it’ll probably get looser in the future. I tried out the I5923 in store and it ran big for me like the Nite Jogger. So both Nite Jogger and Iniki aka I5923 are size 7 for me. I wanted the triple black I5923s because of the black boost but I think the material for this one is more quality with the synthetic leather. I put a couple coats of acrylic finisher on the white boost, hoping it’ll make taking off dirt easier. If it comes to the point it’s too dirty and can’t be removed, I’ll just paint the boost black.I like the casual and basic look for this shoe. It’s not as sporty as my Ultraboosts and not flashy as my Nite Jogger. I’m really happy with this purchase and I feel like my shoe collection is complete now.

I rarely leave reviews but after I researched this shoe on YouTube, I found for the most part they were reviewed well but very under rated in my opinion. So I had to write this review. This is what's called a Lifestyle shoe, old school with advanced Boost technology, that's the best part. This shoe runs true to size but with room to breathe without the shoe being to loose. I have tried the Boost shoe in the Solar Glide and thought what is the big deal. They were ok in comfort but with all the positive reviews I excepted more. Well I know what everyone loves about Boost since I purchased the Adidas I-5923(INIKI). The Boost on this style shoe is like walking on a cloud, really!! So maybe the style of the shoe can makes some differences in the comfort of the Boost. I dont know but what I do know this is the best shoe EVER and I own a few more than I would like to admit. They are so good I bought another pair which I have never done before that is how fantastic this shoe is for me!!! At these prices and return policy there is no reason to sit on the fence, buy a pair and experience the Boost technology with the 70's inspired styling you will not be disappointed. BTW the pictures do not do the shoes justice all that is for sure!!!

I’ve enjoyed this pair a lot. I’d been looking at this specific model for a while, as I liked the old-school/retro look mixed with the contemporary boost mid-sole. This version is made with significantly better quality materials than the later released “Iniki” model (which I also ordered, then returned due to its poor quality). The under foot experience is pretty much exactly like the NMD in the sense that it’s flat, with minimal arch support, and a pretty steep decline from heal to toe.The boost is soft and enjoyable in the heal and mid-foot area, but barely noticeable (if at all actually) in the fore-foot. The upper fits very loosely, and there is really no foot “lock-down”, so you’re basically in for a bit of a “slip and slide” type of experience. Also, important to note, the shoe fits pretty much exactly one-size big (i.e. I am a true size 11 and had to order a size 10 for the shoe to fit).All that being said, I get a ton of compliments on the shoe from people, and they are nice alternative to always wearing Jack Purcell converse or other “retro” casual sneakers.As long as you know what you’re in for and have accurate expectations for the shoes, I think you’ll be happy with them.3-Month Update: As cool as these shoes look, they have been a nightmare to wear the last 3 months. I’ve found myself constantly giving these shoes another shot because I feel like they look so cool, but man are they sloppy and uncomfortable to wear. The fit is boarderline “scary”. The shoes have a really significant feeling heel-toe drop, making it feel like you’re walking on almost a decline slope. There is zero structure in the upper, making rolling your ankle at least once, a very high probability.There is no insole, just a basic stitched piece of fabric that serves only to cover the boost. As usual, the boost discolored quickly and started turning yellow. Mind you, I take very good care of my shoes, so the fact that this is happening so fast is just a bummer. I get serious calf pain, lower back aches, and ankle soreness after wearing these for anything more than a mile of total walking distance in a day.Long story short, look past the aesthetics of the shoe, and gauge it for how it will function long term, which objectively, will be quite poorly.

These shoes are amazing. Classic, dope style and exceptionally comfortable.Paid extra to get the all blacked out with the white stripes...well worth it for the comfort, and this hard to find colorway, in i-5923.The dark black Boost material is a MUST HAVE!!If you own any shoes with the regular white/beige Boost you know how extremely DIRTY the Boost material can get, and how frustrating it is to try to clean it. With these black Boost soles that problem is eliminated, I just brush off the dust and clean it with a damp cloth and looks good as new ...A+

Der Schuh war leider zu groß. Die Farben waren toll.Bei der Retoure bekam ich aber nicht den vollen Preis zurück. Die Zollkosten ca. 20 €, wurden einbehalten.Die Schuhe kamen von Übersee und deshalb dauerte es sehr lange, bis die Schuhe ankamen.

I used to have onitsuka tiger's but i founder out about these and absolutely love them the cushioning is great and the mute style make them even better for wearing with dark pants and not looking sports like. Love it. Way better than i expected color-wise. I've owned other colors before so know how great these shoes are the i-5923 adidas's..
