Excellent bag, well made. Really helps to steady my camera. Appreciate that it has a zipper closure rather than velcro. I chose Black Oil Sunflower seeds for fill. It took 30 cups, which then weighed 7 pounds. Highly recommend.

Perfect for stabilizing lens. A little bulky to travel with.

Used this on a number of safaris in Africa. It was tough and handled bumps, rain, dust and all-around rough conditions.

I couldn't decide which beanbag to buy, so I bought two: Grizzly (large) and SafariSack (4.2). I used pinto beans to fill the bags. The Grizzly took apprx 25 cups of beans, and weighed about 13 pounds filled with beans (versus 20 cups and 8.5 pounds for the SafariSack). The Grizzly worked somewhat better on the car door than the SafariSack, due to it's shape. But for frequently placing in the window and removing while driving around Yellowstone, it was definitely heavy. But rock solid when in place. A couple of times, in my excitement I tossed the Grizzly on my car hood, and was relieved it didn't dent it. The SafariSack is probably better for flat applications. Both bags have grab handles, which were very helpful. The Grizzly is a good choice if weight is not a concern.

Great bag for helping to keep a large lens steady. I filled it with black oil sunflower seeds as one recommendation by manufacturer. Seems to work fine.

This thing holds a lot of rice! It works really well over the door frame of my car. I’m using a Nikon D500-Nikon with the Nikon 200-500 lens and the large is the perfect size. I like that it comes empty so you can fill it with whatever you want and I like that it has a zipper closure and not Velcro.
