I am looking a piece of steel 35x22 inches what would this be in cm or mm

Looking to make some business size cards so i can engrave some passwords for safe keeping, would these be suitable?

They could be used for that purpose but I would definitely go for the the thinnest available, 0.8mm thick plates, as anything above this would be overkill. You will probably also need to remove the mill scale from the plate as otherwise they will be almost black and quite messy to handle. I would also recommend the application of some sort of clear lacquer, after engraving, to prevent rust.

What Grade is the steel?

It's a standard mild steel plate BUT I'm not sure of the grade.

Does the job!

I bought this to protect my worktop because even with a honeycomb my laser printer/cutter has some teeth to it. Id like to find a similar sheet but to be 40cmx40cm and I can use more acreage of my printer frame, but as it is, and I stay within its boundaries, it's ideal

Sharp, Misshapen, and bent due to insufficient packaging.

The edges still have sharp edges and one edge has DEFINITELY been cut by hand which is out of both size and shape. 404mm x 396/7mm. Also it had cardboard onto the main faces for protection from scratches, but nothing to protect the edges or corners. Which(probably due to the delivery driver), were bent.

Packaging appeared adequate but corners were bent. Also, found the measurements varied from 394, 395, 395 to 406mm and I required a more accurate 400x400mm. No time to return as wanted immediately. C.
