Quiet motor
Worked great for my application and most importantly it’s quiet.

Excellent cheap fix for an old fridge
I bought a used fridge 5 years ago for $100 to keep around as an extra fridge to store bulk food. The fridge was built in the 80’s and the fan kept making grinding noises and eventually failed. The best my freezer compartment could do with the broken fan was 60 degrees Farenheight. I was going to drag the fridge to the junk yard and toss it but figured I’d give it one final shot to see if I could get it running again. I was concerned about finding a fan that could match the mounting brackets for my 40 year old fridge. But this product had snap off brackets and fan shaft that could be cut down to fit my old fridge. I’ve now got super cold air -5 degree air blowing through it. This is an A+ product!

Cheap and gets the job done
Item was easy to install. My second time installing one of these universal fan motors. Fits and functions like the last one. Parts pack isn't complete, but I used the hardware from the old motor. As long as it doesn't make noise I don't care!

Excellent replacement fan for refrigerator
I ordered this replacement fan for a small refrigerator that was no longer cooling. Although the original fan was still working it was no longer spinning fast enough to move the air across the cooling coils. This fan resolved the issue as the refrigerator is now cold. The OEM part is 199.00 from the manufacturer. Save yourself the money and order this fan.

Very poor quality
Made a grinding noise right from the start from friction due to a miscasting. Stopped working the same day. Identified and rectified the friction issue (partially) and swapped the crappy rotor with the old one and it worked (noisily) for less than a week before dying completely. Please, I beg of you, don't put yourself through this. Pass this up.

Well that was easy
The media could not be loaded. It seems that all of the Magic Chef evaporative fan motors are no longer available. Thought I would take a chance on a Universal Motor and I was not disappointed. The motor support had multiple tabs that could be kept or broken off to adapt to various installations. For mine, I had to break them all off, but it fit right in the Magic Chef MCBR1000S. The fan motor sits inside the white plastic shroud in the photo and supports the motor with the stubs on the front and back of the motor shaft. Make sure you have a couple of wire connectors (I used the heat shrink covered crimp connectors) and a small zip tie to secure the wires. Took about 45 minutes. Humming along in the video.

The best motor out there
I bought three different kind of evaporator motors. Finally, I bought the right one. This one has the power to blow air through out my freezer and refrigerator. The rest of the motors are wimpy and slow. This one is fast.
